Brown marker did the job
Its brown. Its permanent. Its a thick tip marker. Just what i needed. Who needs so many of the same color. I guess i did! Worked great for 164 kids to use over 2 days of art. I only bought 12. Lasted the whole time and i only threw out 1.

Good color, dries quickly.
Smooth and dries quickly. Love the brightness of the colors. Perfect for restocking my craft room.

True brown
Nice marker. Has a strong ink smell but the color covers well if you need to draw a tree trunk. Probably didn't need a whole box but glad we have extras.

Streaky, not solid color
The chisel tip brown markers did not provide a solid color line - streaky mark. Also, the tip doesn't allow crisp writing, sort of ragged edges. All the markers on the dry side and don't last long. Based on my experience with these Avery markers I will not purchase this brand again for any permanent markers.

Excellent color, perfect for tinting light bulbs amber.
Pros:These have a deep rich mahogany color.Coverage is excellent and thorough on every surface I tried them on.Tinting light bulbs Amber works quite well with these markers.So far the tinted bulbs are retaining the color, even the incandescents which get hotter than the LEDs.Conclusion:I will stock up on these as I build fine art lamps in various vintage and antique styles such as; Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco so Amber colored light enhances the mood the lamps present, especially with harsh LED bulbs which even when used with dimmers are too stark.

Note really brown. Brown on paper, red on hardwood. Depends on absorbency of material.
