It looks and feels like a solidly manufactured item mirroring quality craftsmanship. The speaker fits very snugly into the case, which comes with a carabiner clip as well as a shoulder strap. I looped the strap several times though the end clips and fastened it back to itself in order to create a nicely fitting handle. The interior of the case is lined with a robust material that doesn't appears to be and excellent chock absorbing product, however, it doesn't look as though it would be subject to shedding fiber. Externally, the case is covered in what seems to be a nylon type of material that covers either a tough plastic or possibly a composite Teflon resembling material. All of this for an astoundingly economical price!!
