I've gotten a few different glass/stainless/double-walled gourds recently and this is the best that I've tried so far.Obviously, it is much easier to clean than a traditional calabash or pumpkin gourd. You also don't have to worry about curing it, or worry about mold.The shape works well and is the closest to a traditional gourd of the ones I've received. It is fairly easy to build up the "montañita" and maintain it with this also.For an inexpensive, yet durable bomba/gourd that holds heat well while protecting your hands-- I certainly recommend this!

This is a nice cup for drinking mate. It is steel with a rubberized surface on the outside, which keeps your hand cool while drinking. It comes with a standard mate straw, and a brush with which to clean the straw. It does not come with a plastic lid, like some similar mate cups do.
