Worked great until I put some serious pressure on it and tore a bit. I am thinking it was my faut not the cheese cloth though!

Purchased to try the 'soak the cheese cloth in melted butter and place on top the turkey breast' roast. I haven't done it yet, but will. In the mean time, this is a very nice roll of cheese cloth. Lots of uses - roasting, straining, etc. I'm happy with the purchase. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This is a wonderful high grade cheese cloth. And was a lot of it. I am loving the feel and texture. Not so heavy and not so thin. Just perfect.

Wow, this stuff was a wonderful surprise. I've used a seriously crappy cheesecloth for at least 4 years in straining rendered lard. It was good for one use, then had to be tossed. Pathetic. And I thought that all cheesecloth was created equal. HA, no! This cloth is suitable for multiple uses, in which case I bought way too much :-). But that's okay as long as it works the way I know it will work. The weave alone is a thing of beauty. I don't know 'grades' but Grade 90 is hot stuff from what I can see. The mesh is teeny fine, and the 'weave', if akin to thread count, is generous beyond words. If cheesecloth can be lovely, then this is LOVELY. And I now see how crafters can use it. It's nice enough to be used in wreaths, etc. I could not be happier, and I'm sure my lard will be even whiter in the future!Thank you, Sceng, for a superiory product at a great price. It should also be noted that it comes well packaged. If I live long enough to use it all, I will definitely re-purchase.
