Dinosaurs Top Trumps Card Game

Bought for a 7 year old...he loves them

This is another really fun game of Top Trumps and my son (5) loves them. Apart from teaching him about Dinosaurs it also helps him learn some really BIG numbers as several statistics are in the 1000's and hundred-thousands. However, I do feel the game could have been improved factually. For example; the statistic about intelligence is pure guess work, although we do know some must have been more clever to hunt others. Also statistics on defence or potential speed would be good. There is also a very strange card which does not show an image of he dinosaur, but instead what it could potentially evolve into, a strange human type creature.....why ? If this is your first pack I would suggest you look at deadly animals, that pack is brilliant. However, if dinosaurs are your thing, this is still a great game.Overall* Fun* Educational* Well balancedI hope you found this review helpful :)

One of the pictures on the cards looked more like a person than a dinosaur, but the facts are pretty accurate and most importantly they entertain the boys for hours.

My son (5 yrs) absolutely loves these. The pictures are great, and they're well made and durable, and they are intelligently packaged to make them easy to travel with. He's mad about dinosaurs, and these seem to feed his obsession perfectly. He's a little young in that he can't read the categories himself, but he has now memorised them in the right order, and it's also helping him read numbers better, not to mention sparking some interest in maths via weight comparisons etc..

I have been a top trumps fan all my life. I bought this set for my dinosaurs obsessed son, the pictures are really nice, I like the fact file on each card for that dinosaurs. The categories and numbers are easy for him to read or memorize, as he is still quite young, and the numbers are in his range of working out and challenging enough for him to learn.

Absolute classic, bought for my Dino loving nephew as part of a birthday bundle of gifts. Hopefully he enjoys it as much as my brother and I did as kids too. Well made and of course informative too :D Ahhh the nostalgia...
