Mrs. Anderson's Baking 109 Crust Protector Shield, Fits 9.5 10-Inch Pie Plates, Aluminum, Silver

Received 21.05.20 two weeks earlier from the USA than predicted, which question what speed UK Royal Mail does. Item as described, happy with purchase. Packaging could do with vast improvement however.

I haven't used it yet, but my reaction when I unpacked it was disappointment. It is very thin and fragile and too easily bends out iof shape. I am not sure just how long it will last when I do start using it.

says in the title it is a 9" pie crust shield, it isn't, it is a 10 inch one that you receive. Looking closely at the photo it says 10 inch at the top on the shield itself, so they should really decide what they want to sell as I now have a pie shield that shields nothing and doesn't fit.

Good useful product stop me burning pie crust

I received the crust shield this morning and gave it a try on a pie today. I'm very perplexed at some of the reviews posted regarding the size and fit of the shield over pies. I can't speak to the smaller size but I will make my comments for the 10 inch shield. I'm using an Emile Henry pie pan with a fluted edge and the shield went over the top of the pie with no force whatsoever. It basically dropped over the edge of the pie on its own. Fits perfectly. It also works perfectly to protect the crust edge as well. As a matter of fact, I uncovered the pie for about ten minutes or so just so that the edge browned up a bit. Great product that works well. Great addition to the kitchen.

Me gustó la alternativa en vez de aluminio para proteger pasteles

I really bought this for my husband. I was tired of hearing him complain about having to try to put aluminum foil around the edges of the crust. He loves it and it works great; just wish I had had one when I was doing the baking!

Une étoile parce qu' il faut mettre quelque chose pour pouvoir commenter. Grosse déception l'article reçu ne correspond absolument pas à celui commandé. Je ne pense pas qu'il s'agisse d'une erreur: matière, marque différentes... Malhonnête.

Noch habe ich es nicht benutzt, aber die Idee ist hervorragend. Es kam perfekt verpackt an. Momentan Vorfreude aber mit Sicherheit eines Tages ein Erfolg.
