The Original Authentic Made in USA Adjustable Cake Scraper Smoother

I purchased this item last week and used for a cake that I made for a co-worker. I have to say that I read mixed reviews on this tool, but I also took the opportunity to watch several tutorials on how to use this tool before it arrived. I followed a lot of the tips and tricks via YouTube tutorials and this tool worked AMAZING. It took half the time it normally takes to frost my cake and the end product was a smooth, round cake with sharp edges. I could never achieve sharp edges in the past. I would highly recommend this tool, it's a game changer!!!

This tool is controversial amongst cake decorators. I attempted this once so far so I wasn’t sure that I wanted to rate it but I wanted to share. While I think it CAN work, you definitely need to practice. And one of the things I can tell I DON’T like so far is how much frosting you have to use in order for this to line up properly against your tiers. I will not give up on this product just yet but it definitely is a little more work right now than my current cake tools. The product is great quality though. And I think once I get the hang of it, it will be just fine.

Takes some getting used to and you will need to use an angled spatula to perfect the top of your cake but this is still a huge time saver and excellet at leveling the frosting.

I'm not a professional baker or anything and I love using this product to get straight, smooth edges on my birthday cakes. Looks really nice after using this, much better than me doing it by hand with a regular straight edge.

Didn’t work for me. Keeps messing the top up. Around the cake was no good either. Hard to work with. Maybe I don’t know how to use it since I’m a beginner but my cake scraper works good for me just looked like this would be easier but it’s not! waste of money. Back to my reliable cake scraper! The pic below i used my cake scraper just so you know I know how to frost this thing just did not work for me!!

I found this no easier to use than just a knife, in fact I have bet luck with a knife. I had reviews tell me that this made smoothing and sharp edges so much easier but I found it to be very difficult to use and probably won't every user it again. Definitely wasted money.

I'm going to be honest. At first I couldn't get the darn thing to do it's job. But with perseverance, patience and lots of practice now, I can't be without it. It helps with time and my hands don't hurt so much frosting my cakes.

I want to give this item 5 stars but, I am having an issue with it. Sharp edges yes, but why is it removing the frosting from the top center? Is it suppose to do this? I followed the directions accordingly. Please, would like some feed back.
