My grandson love it

Normally I review books, but after completing this I feel compelled to leave a review, especially for the reason stated in the title, and hopefully for the manufacturer to see it and correct it as soon as possible. For preface, it bought this as a gift for a friend who didn't have any experience with anything like this. Now while they eventually gave up (again, linking to the reason I'm about to explain) I happen to be reletively experienced with model kits. Yet, starting this kit was infuriating. It is incredibly punishing if you don't get the order right from the very start (high attention and analytical skills are key with this). I had to restart constantly and only pride alone kept me going. My main issue (and the basis for my reason behind this review) are the instructions. Frankly, they are awful. There is so faint a distinction on the black pieces that you have to literally have the pages right under a light and hunch your back so you can position your eyes so you can just make out which piece you are meant to use. This leads to potentially persistent back pain and makes the whole experience very uncomfortable. Until it has been noted that this issue has been addressed DO NOT BUY THIS KIT! I hate having to say that about anyone's product, but this issue could really end up hurting people, and I cannot stand aside and not say anything knowing that. I am fortuate enough to possess the knowledge of how to use muscle massage techniques on my back with a ball, but many who look at this may not. It for this reason I cannot recommend this kit. The reason my review is 2 and not 1 star is because of the feeling of accomplishment I felt for finishing this challenging kit. I hope this helps inform you in your puchasing decision.

It’s horrible to build the instructions are difficult to read and the parts are too small. It’s a cute product but in hindsight I wouldn’t buy again.

Lovely mini Lego set. However the pieces can be a bit hard to click together at times without other parts falling off and the instructions are not the easy kind you get in normal Lego sets. Plenty of spare pieces included and a mini tool to help separate blocks when needed.

The border collie turned out to be beautiful. It's just such a pity that the instructions were unclear and detracted from the enjoyment of the builidng. The Christmas post-lunch period turned out to be a wee bit stressful for everyone present.

This is a lot smaller than I had anticipated, a bit fiddly as well, but a great end result

Kept my 12 year old amused for a couple of days during isolation. All the pieces were in the box (and a few were left over)

Not built yet but looks good if like the pic I'll be well happy and so will an 8yr old
