SV211 Handle for Telescope, 135mm Handle for Telescope

Love the handlebar. Love that SVBONY gives quality and value every time. When is a Dobsonian not a Dobsonian? When it reverts to a Newtonian... The final piece of the puzzle for converting a Dobsonian mounted OTA over to a grab and go Newtonian for use on tripods and telescope mounts. With the SVBONY 7" double sided dovetail I can mount to either Vixen (for my EQ mount) or Arca Swiss (for my heavy-duty photography tripod). The Handlebar is solid, easy to install and it mounted securely to the top of my tube rings. 135mm length was ideal for my application. Now I can have confidence transporting and mounting my Newt. Extra bonus, the handlebar doubles as a rail for a finder scope, red dot, or guide scope. Clear Skies!

Purchased this to use with 6in reflector. Handle added to rings easily and provides a steady base for my 50mm guide-scope. Purchasing another for my refractor since having a handle on the scope makes mounting safer and easier, especially in the dark. The unit is light, so not much weight added to scope. A side benefit is it's finish and workmanship, both excellent.

Original: So I purchased this to use for my AT80ED to attach my guide scope. I love how it looks and it would have been perfect if it had actually came with the parts to attach it to the mount. I don't know what happened there but I am really disappointed. Updated: So I was able to use the assistant chat to quickly get a replacement shipped out to me. Once it arrived it had all the bolts and wrench and was quick and easy to attach. Love the color and it's well made from what I can tell. Using the ZWO 30mm guide scope and it attached easily and is very sturdy from what I can see. I attached it to the stock rings on my AT 80ED and it looks really great. Exactly what I needed. The handle also makes it very convenient to carry it outside when I set up.

Great Quality perfect fit

They make a great product at a better than average price . This is no exception. The machining is great and I’m a machinist. Threads feel nice . 135mm center to center for guide rings . My opinion it’s a little long for the 550 it perfect for the 503 but it will help you balance e the 550 with the flattener . hardware included

Well made solid machining quality and a REALLY sharp finish on it too. I handled the telescope (Svbony SV503 80ED) I bought at the same time without this bracket attached for a while to "get to know the scope". After attaching the bracket, which went VERY easily, I realized I made the right choice to go ahead and purchase the bracket too. I almost didn't buy it because I didn't really need it to mount a guide scope. I already had equipment that could have mounted near the focusing knobs. Once the bracket was attached, grabbing the bracket/handle bar to pick up and carry the telescope was far more natural and comfortable. Considering the SV503 80ED will be sharing the same tripod/mount as another telescope I have, this bracket/handle bar was definately worth the $29 on Prime Day.

I got it as an extra grab handle for my Apertura CarbonStar 8" Ritchey–Chrétien OTA. Not only does it serve that purpose, it also exactly matches the top Vixen rail in color.

Poor designed, much wider than a standard dovetail mount bracket & the angle geometry of the wings is way off, it won't hold without vertical & lateral flexure. While it may hold a lightweight plastic sighting device, it won't hold a quality sighting scope or my guide scope securely without movement, and that flexure totally throws off tracking. I went for a Askar multi connection finder plate for a solid secure clamp of my accessories. I love Svbony, but they got this one wrong.

I like this SVbony mount bracket BUT it was not cheap. the quality is nice, great finish and its a must for me when carrying my scope to the mount. It is also a universal dovetail which is nice.
