Firstly I wish to applaud the swiftness of delivery. Was not expecting arrival for another week!!I haven’t used the paddles as yet but have put them together easily and they seem pretty sturdy and yet not at all heavy. I guess the real test will be once there in the water but so far I have absolutely no complaints.

It's very difficult to tell from these images what sort of quality an item may be and the reviews all depend upon the experience of those who have bought them and who are writing that particular review.I wanted a cheap but serviceable pair of oars as a standby in my Avon inflatable dinghy in case the little 3hp outboard should go phutt or I run out of petrol getting to and from the yacht on it's moorings. The sellers description of these particular oars/paddles seemed genuine enough and the reviews were all fairly positive so I took a punt.They were as I expected, cheap, but perhaps a cut above what one might usually see kids using mucking about in a plastic inflatable in a pool or river.The blades are smaller than I was expecting and the alloy tubes smaller in diameter but I wasn't intending to race Cornish gigs or enter the Oxford/Cambridge boat race! The blades are slightly flexible, ie not rigid plastic which more often than not is brittle and is more prone to cracking which I hope is a good sign.Concerned about the rigidity of the alloy tubes I've spent the afternoon making wooden octagonal inserts out of Iroko on the circular saw, less chance of bending one by standing on it now.Finally I didn't like the position of the tough looking and feeling joining piece so I drilled out the pop rivets (5mm drill) holding the blades on the shorter alloy tube and re fastened them on the longer tubes, the joining piece now sits in the rowlock on the Avon dinghy with the right length inboard of the rowlock. All that's left is to whip some cordage set on Araldite to create hand grips and I've got the perfect set of inflatable dinghy oars in a bag under the thwart should I need them.

I am very happy with these. They are a good length and seem strong.

They obviously aren't the most heavy duty oars, but fantastic for the price. Great lightweight, compact set of oars.

Ideal for my use , lightweight and portable .

Speri che le plastiche dei raccordi durino nel tempo.Ovviamente rispetto ai remi professionali non c'è paragone. Fanno cmq il loro dovere e occupano poco spazio per il trasporto.
