Rite in the rain has always delivered with their products. I'll never use a regular notepad again. This one is perfect for work.

Rite in Rains are great- they hold up a heck of a lot better than regular paper/ note pads. It's decently hard to rip the pages, and the covers, being plastic, don't rip off. Just beware that, if you don't have an all weather pen, your second best bet is a mechanical pencil because most pens will smudge on the waxy pages.Of course, the biggest and best selling point is that they're 100% waterproof, meaning that they will survive a rain storm or going through an accidental washing cycle in a uniform pocket. The note taking layout is nice and reminds you to get the information needed for generating a report, but I'm personally starting to prefer just blank lines to scribble notes, DL numbers, Names, facts, and so on. It all depends what works best for you when you're gathering information.

Not sure I'll buy a different note pad ever again. This notepad was intended for law enforcement use, which is what I use it for. It really helps organize all your information on an individual or incident. There have been times where my partners would forget to write down certain information on a subject and they would be missing key elements in their reports. But with this notepad, it doesn't let you forget as it has just about every subject field you would need. In case there isn't a subject field for something you want to write down, each sheet has blank lines on the back for any additional info you would like to add. I usually write down a general quick description of what happened along with any other information I might find important.All in all, this is a great pad. I haven't used it in the rain yet, but I did try it under running water with the fisher space pen and it worked as if it was dry. I would recommend this to others in law enforcement or for those who may need to describe individuals or situations in their daily life.

Works in the rain or dry weather for that matter. I use a Fisher Space Pen and does a good job.

This brand of notebooks is perfect if you’re looking to store valuable text. Pages are thick and waterproof.

I was looking for a way to keep a quick record of gang members I encounter during my shift while working my area. This durable notebook has the perfect format and layout to keep clean accurate notes about your citizen encounters and also not have to worry about rain ruining or affecting the paper or your notes. The all weather field interview book is without a doubt the most useful too I have ever bought for my job. We all know how hard it is to keep up with our daily encounters with the citizens of our jurisdiction and it's nice to have a recorded document of who you talked to and why you talked with them as well. All I all am excellent item and I WILL be buying more.

If you really need to write in rain then this is way to go. But if you dont then stick to paper. This material does not write on as nice and feels someone rubbery. If you tear sheets out, this type is hard to do.
