Absolutely Great!
Got these on sale, and can say based on the sale price that they were worth every penny. You will need another device with a mic or controller of some sort to use the music reactive settings. They're extremely bright, easy to use on the app, and are great indoors and outdoors.

Not weather proof much!
I love the lights when they did work. After a little over a year I have dead paper weight. Both lights don’t work and they weren’t exposed much to water at all as they were staked next to the house where barely any water or snow hits. They just stopped turning on. When I unscrewed the connectors I noticed they were gunky, wet and burned inside.Yes I did screw them on tight as they can. Maybe I should’ve wrapped the connectors in an outlet outdoor cover or something but it’s supposed to all be weather proof. To the garbage they go.

Really good at night
It looks good and is pretty nice quality for price, just wish it had longer wire length and that the control box was waterproof or you will have to buy a waterproof box.

For the price it is hard to beat
The TLDR is for the price it is hard to beat, the software is janky and a few dumb design decisions really limit the product's potential.Update 1 month of use: One of the lights filled with water (see pictures). The whole light is glued together and the front translucent window that the light shines through leaked. I don't know if I broke the adhesive by squeezing the front face adjusting the light or if it was a factory defect but I had a spare from a second set. There are cheap lights so be careful handling them. The Good:- The price point is great for these units. The build quality seems decent and the light output quality is good. The Bad:The app is janky, here is why- The prebuilt scenes don't have an effects speed or effects fade setting. The majority of the scenes have abrupt color changes that are very distracting on the eyes. If you want to use this for ambient lighting in an outdoor space you are stuck making a custom "DIY" scene- If you want to set the lights to a predefined color with no effects there is a relative brightness slider that does not make sense as there are two sliders. A "brightness" slider and "relative brightness" slider- The color wheel selection does not let you enter a RGB value or a hex value. This would be a welcome addition- The app has an Govee advertisements all over the place which makes it feel "cheap" as very made in ChinaThe Stupid:- The lights and cable are weather proof but the power adapter and controller are not. I would rather they charge a few bucks more and the power adapter and controller be weatherproof. I had to buy an outdoor weatherproof box to put them in. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NLW5HMX- The lights are on waterproof connectors but no extension cables are sold by Groove and the connectors are not an easy standard to find to make your own. If you want to place a light further than the cord length well you are screwed. This is particularly frustrating as often the wall outlet does not line up in the beginning of the chain. It would be such an easy fix for Groove to sell an extension cable as an accessory. I cut the wire on a light and soldered in a 22AWG 4 conductor extension cable. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B945PQ34There is a max signal length between the LEDs as they use a WS2811 chip serial driver before signal integrity issues become a problem so that may be why they do not sell extension cables. Either way extending the cable about 6 feet was not an issue for me.Other Data:- You can order a larger set with more lights than needed and disconnect lights you don't need at the end of the set. It works fine if you disconnect the lights starting at the end of the set only. If you disconnect the lights at the beginning of the set it does not work. Each light has a data signal in and out signal so you must only remove lights starting at the end of the chain.- The lights use WS2811 driver chips which is a standard driver chip for RGB LED strips and it was a good idea by Govee to use low cost "off the shelf" parts. They are using this driver for the warm and cool white LEDs as well so you wouldn't be able to easily drive these lights with a standard WS2811 controller if you wanted to as the Govve controller knows the location of each white LED in the chain to correctly command the color.
