PremierHousewares 812118 Cast Iron Trivet - Red, H2 x W18 x D18cm

Firstly, I placed the order on a Monday with free super saver delivery and it arrived on Thursday by courier. Great service there. The book stand is great, well made, as you would expect from cast iron and covered in a vibrant, deep red paint. Ideal for a thick hardback book with 221 pages which is held firmly in place when opened.The box was the right size, but like another review for the product, their was insufficient soft lining e.g bubble wrap in the box to protect the cast iron paintwork which has resulted in a small area of paint chipping off the product in transit. The box only contained a few sheets of brown paper around the product, not enough protection for this heavy item.This product is a great buy and I hope the comments are taken on board - please, please, please use bubble wrap in future to preserve the product to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. This will ensure that future buyers are delighted.

Extremely nice quality & colour 👍

I use this every day for holding open cookbooks as well as standing up my iPad to watch videos in the kitchen, or to display online recipes. It's pretty basic, but works very well. The quality is pretty good for what it is (and for the price). It doesn't hold small cook books very well, as the feet that hold the pages open are at the end, but you can normally work out a way to keep the page open for those - for example, you could open out the book and put a rubber band around the book and the stand ... that will keep it in place very well. Very thick books can also be tricky, but it accommodates the standard size cookbooks very well. I bought this colour as it seemed to match my Le Creuset/ Le Chasseur cherry red cookware better than some other similar models, and whilst it is a bit brighter than the cookware, they match close enough to stay true to my colour scheme. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone.

My friend is a kitchenalia freak and everything has to be in red.When asking what she might like as a birthday present, I was somewhat unimpressed when she said a kitchen roll holder,However I found this and far from the cheap tacky item that first came to mind, I found it quite substantial and smart looking. In fact, I quite fancy one for myself now.

I bought this as the one I had before wasn’t big enough at the bottom to keep cups from falling off this is just right size so if you’ve got some larger mugs this is big enough to hold on the bottom hooks

This is not a proper trivet!!Be aware, I used it once and dispose of it, I placed my lovely new "prestige" frying pain and some red paint smeared the shining stainless steel base, absolute rubbish, it was good that I checked my pan thoroughly otherwise when using it next time, that red paint could have damaged my Neff induction hob. This should be withdrawn from AMAZON web page, if you have one do not use but return it, I could not be bothered....another thing to point out, the weight of it doesn`t really do it, I still have my old Cruiset trivet and it weighs double, I only changed because we had a new kitchen fitted and we changed the colour scheme, but I certainly would not use this made in china rubbish!!!!Be aware.....

Very attractive and quite sturdy however when I put a pot from the hot plate onto the trivet some of the paint/ enamel coating came away on the bottom of the pan. It was only when I came to wash the pan I realised what had happened and it was quite difficult to remove it. Now I am loath to use it for it’s said purpose in case it happens again

I use it under an electrical appliance that can get warm to protect furniture it is pretty and useful.

This cute red cup holder can only hold cups without ever rocking it because the cups fall off very easily & the paint is coming off the finish already. I will not be buying any more of this product!!!!

Inoltre è più che robusto, e quindi anche molto stabile, nell'essere di ferro pieno; infatti è possibile strappare uno Scottex con uno strattone con una mano senza far rovesciare il tutto (in cucina può capitare di avere una mano già impegnata). - Insomma, un ottimo acquisto!

Essendo di ferro pieno, è molto robusto e stabile. Questo permette di strappare lo Scottex facilmente senza tirarsi dietro tutto. Poi la verniciatura rosso brillante lo rende anche bello a vedersi. Consegnato nei tempi all'interno di un ottimo imballaggio resistente.

Il difetto unico è rappresentato dalla sua scarsa lunghezza che fa poggiare male i mestoli che non rimangono stabili. È robusto e pesante, verniciato di un rosso brillante; pertanto, abbinato agli altri elementi della stessa serie, dà un vivido tocco elegante alla cucina.
