Probably the thinnest plastic ruler I have ever used, but it does the job. Bold black numerics make it easy to read. I wonder how long it will last before it breaks?

It's a ruler. What is there to say?It's clear and accurate and straight. Oh, and you can do that thing where you hold it tight on your desk and boing the end (Which is very important with rulers)Oh. There was more to say :)

Not held up against my high schooler

It’s just a ruler. A bog standard ruler. Which is what you want really! Measurements are clear. Draws a straight line! What can you say! I’m happy with it anyway😄

I wanted a short ruler, to keep in a small desk tidy near where I use a laptop, in the living room. There's a standard-sized ruler in a drawer not far off - this was needed for very swift use for when I'm feeling too impatient (or too lazy) to fetch the longer one, and need to measure something tiny, eg when ordering a small component online. A twelve-inch ruler would have been too obtrusive as the`desk tidy' (a slimline wooden remote-control organiser) is on a small occasional table, which is right out in the room-space. I looked at folding rulers too, but they all seemed to be in centimetres along both edges. As I wanted both centimetres AND inches, this item ticked all the boxes. Also, being clear, it's hardly noticeable among the other small items in the organiser ... note-pad, calculator and pens and pencils.
