I need this, so that a bicycle rack would clear spare tire on an RV and possibly to tow a trailer that was very low so it’s seems like it will work wonderful for me…bolt seems high quality as well as good packaging

So many options on this type of accessory and up close pictures had me guessing which one to buy.I am very pleased I chose this one.I have certified welders who are my buddy's, they report these welds are quality....as is the gauge of steel used.I am well pleased with this unit. The bolt that comes with it? I may or may not use it. It is quality stainless....but think it too much of a hassle to use the nut as I routinely mount and un-mount various attachments to my rig. I like the speed the traditional hitch pull offers. Still...if a person were to leave this on their rig for weeks on end....go with the bolt! It provides that extra hassle for a thief that the regular hitch pins don't offer. Personally, I don't see much difference in the "rattle" with the stainless bolt provided.I DO see the rattle gone from the bike rack, cargo rack, etc. thanks to the allen head bolt on both receiver openings. I bought a cheap allen head set from HF and tossed it in the console to have all the time.Thanks for reading my review...I am well pleased with the quality of this product.

Rised to the occasion.

The hitch adapter is just what I need to build a kayak rack for our RV. The paint is just 'meh". I already found a small amount of rust after leaving it out for a few days. Nothing I didn't expect at this price point.I cut the length down a little to bring it closer to the bumper, but otherwise it's a pretty useful device for adding a bike rack, or whatever, to your cargo rack.

I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of this extender. It was a close fit on my GLE 350, another 1” in length would be great with additional 5/8” hole. Definitely works as intended.
