Yes, the description says it’s good for “sois vis”, which is boiling in a bag. I like mine. Kinda costly but last a while and versatile

Do the different bowl sizes fit inside each other for storage?

Yes they do. The fit can be tight but all 3 of my bowls fit together and my little snack size stashers fit inside the one cup that is the smallest size in my set.
