I bought these for a teammate who had a hip replacement and had trouble bending over to pick up a ball. This works GREAT! It did not improve his game, but picks up a pickleball with ease.

When my husband decided to retire he mentioned he wanted to start playing pickle ball, needed certain things to help him play. He mentioned he would need these for his paddles. Although I knew nothing about the game I one day went to a pickle ball court and watched them play. I asked some players what their thoughts were about these after I saw them using them to pick up their balls. They mentioned they like the fit on their paddle, it makes it easier for them not to have to bend down to far. The weight is light so when they put their paddles back in their bag it doesn't make the bag heavy. They recommend taking off their paddles especially if you have a small bag. They mentioned they were good valve for the money, very durable, easy to grip putting on the paddle, even with hand pain they are easy to put on.After receiving their advice I felt very good about getting these for my husband for Christmas. My husband has used these since receiving and has said they are the best thing ever for he doesn't have to bend as much, he can use on his paddle and get back into the game with less back pain.

These are a great find if you love pickle ball, but your lower back isn’t great. That was my issue. Picking the ball up with these things make it so much easier on my back and hips. Especially if you play two or three games in a row.

Like the title says, it works great. But, your racquet won't fit in the paddle rack anymore. Too bad.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect. Had a little hip issue that made bending over difficult. This was such a big help! I was able to keep playing without getting sore. Other players wondered if this gets in the way. It is so supple that I haven't had any issues with this happening.
