Go for a different brand - a lot look the same but they obviously aren't
Two years ago I purchased the Kingsfisher obelisk of almost identical specs. This was sturdy and went together fine and looked nice and straight. I decided I would like two more and purchased this twin pack as it seemed great value. I put the first one together 3 times in an effort to get it to stand straight - all to no avail. The springy hoops that go band round the obelisk are designed to go on the inside - if you put them on the outside the obelisk is squeezed in and looks very odd. However this did overcome one of the main issues that the screws supplied have too smaller heads for the holes in the poles. Otherwise if you slightly overtighten them - they are simply pulled through the inferior uprights that are are very soft. The top and bottom holes in the uprights are not lined up correctly so that whilst one may line up OK - the other is offset resulting in the screws going through the holes at an angle - and twisting the whole thing. As stated the uprights are very soft and if you try to gently twist the obelisk into any sort of straightness they just bend. I don't expect these obelisks to last long and they will never look nice and straight. I had to use my own screws to erect them in order to overcome the huge holes drilled into the uprights. All in all very disappointed.

Cheap!
For the price I paid - £20 for the pair - they will do the job for what I want them for. But, I only intend to use them for lightweight plants such as annual climbers. Given the fact that they might blow away in the wind, if they’re not secure into the ground or pot, I would not even consider growing a rose, or honeysuckle plant up these. They would be too flimsy for the job and would not be able to support heavier climbers such as honeysuckle or roses. But, like everything in life, you get what you pay for!

Get what you pay for....
I found it easy but wouldn't say it's easy to put together my mum would struggle, it's weak, light and will surely begin to rust quickly. It will do the job for now but don't expect this to last, diameter is only 36cm and height is 180cm. I think this is one of those products that on first launch was better quality and got good reviews but over time the quality has dropped.

Does the job
I used it to support a cucumber plant, fiddly to put together and needs pushing firmly into the ground to stabilise it.

Excellent value product
The obelisks were perfect for their purpose. Once they were in place they were strong and supported the climbing plants well. They were very good value mainly because the structures will be covered by the plants once they are established so the look of them wasn't too important. We also had a faulty part on one but this was replaced immediately with a whole new obelisk!

For the price they’re adequate
I found them easy enough to put together on my own but hard to get them straight as the curved supports are not rigid and easily get distorted. I put canes into the ground and slipped the obelisks over them to ensure the uprights were at the correct spacing to make them less ‘wonky looking’ and to prevent rust from being pushed into the ground

Nice obelisks
The instruction for assembly could be improved to åonit out the circular row should be on the inside but other than that it was no problems what so ever.My climbing plants will be happy climbing up the structure

Difficult to assemble
The bands that required screws to go round the legs were an absolute faff to assemble when it came to attaching the last band in the circle ! The whole assembly swung round and was very difficult to attach requires 2 people - when done it looks good and was good value for money but beware !
