Ho preso quello da 2 metri e in definitiva è un ottimo prodotto. Ho preferito questo all'adattatore Thunderbolt maschio/HDMI femmina (come questo  VicTsing® Mini DisplayPort DP Thunderbolt a HDMI Maschio a femmina Cavo Adattatore Video Audio HDTV TV Cavo Converter per Apple Macbook Pro 13 15 17 inch, Macbook Air, iMac, Mac Mini, Microsoft Surface Pro/ Pro 2/ Pro 3, Lenovo Thinkpad X1 ecc. ) perché così non ho bisogno di cavi aggiuntivi, inoltre con più cavi il segnale si disperde maggiormente e i punti di rottura aumentano. Qualche considerazione.- Audio/Video:Il segnale trasmesso al televisore/monitor esterno è stabile. Il video viene trasferito automaticamente, l'audio a volte no, quindi andate in 'Preferenze di sistema' > 'Suono' > 'Uscita' e assicuratevi che sia selezionato il device esterno. Attenzione: a quanto pare nelle versioni Mac dotate di Mini displayport l'audio non è supportato. La suddetta porta è simile alla Thunderbolt ma si riconosce dall'icona, un quadrato con due barre verticali ai lati.- Opzioni schermo:Lo schermo del portatile si può duplicare oppure si può estendere l'area di lavoro in modo da 'uscire' dal bordo del primo schermo ed 'entrare' nell'altro. La prima modalità è ottima per riprodurre film ad esempio, la seconda è ideale per lavorare su più programmi o schede contemporaneamente, si può infatti aprire una seconda scrivania o un'applicazione a schermo intero sul monitor aggiuntivo, molto comodo!- Coperchio chiuso:Modalità introdotta negli ultimi modelli di Mac, permette di lavorare sul monitor aggiuntivo chiudendo il portatile (cioè mettendolo in stato di stop). Funziona solamente se il Mac è collegato all'alimentazione (con alcuni monitor/tv in questa modalità si disattiva l'audio esterno e funziona solo quello del Mac).Acquistato da diversi mesi, finora non mi ha dato problemi, quindi lo consiglio.P.s. - Vedo gente che i cavi li calpesta e li piega in modo assurdo, lamentandosi poi che durano poco. Il video viene riconosciuto automaticamente (se volete, si può impostare il doppio desktop oppure il mirroring), l'audio va invece impostato manualmente (penso sia colpa di OSX e non del cavo): basta andare in Preferenze di sistema - Suono - Uscita e selezionare il monitor/TV da cui si vuole sentire l'audio. La qualità, provata su un LG LCD da 21' è superiore alle aspettative e l'audio è perfettamente sincronizzato e per nulla in ritardo.Consigliato senza ombra di dubbio!AGGIORNAMENTOAggiorno la recensione per confermare la bontà di questo cavo.
