Q: What's the current rating for tracks on this board?

The current rating is largely determined by the track width and how warm the track is allowed to get.For this ST3U board and other prototyping PCBs with 85mil tracks that are wide (no narrow places) (e.g. BR1, StripBoard STx, PR3U, PowerBoard) we recommend 3 Amps max. This allows for about a 10 C. rise in track temperature.For prototyping PCBs with tracks that that narrow to 40mils between the holes (e.g. SB4, SB5, SB400, SB404, SB8300) we recommend 2 Amps max. See the BusBoard application note "BPS-AN0004 PCB Current Capacity" for more information on how to determine the current capacity in your prototype. It has a link to software which will let you can determine the temperature rise for higher currents. These numbers do not include derating to account for real-world situations where tracks and components are located closely together or an enclosure may restrict cooling air flow. If you need more current, you can cover the entire track with a solder bead to make it thicker, or you can use two or more tracks in parallel to get more current. Q: where can i get an 8in x 8in board with this pattern?

I'm not sure where you could find it that size. Best I could find was 3.94 x 6.3 Only thing I could suggest is join them with 90 degree bread board jumpers. Good luck

Q: Do you have this in a 2 sided version?

Hi Lewis, thanks for the question. At this time we do not but we are looking at creating some 2-sided versions of some of our PCBs. Not sure if the Size3 of our StripBoard is in the mix but I'll pass it along to our product team. Our only 2-sided Thru-hole PCB is the PadBoard.
