The listing photo doesn't show the correct distribution of compartments. Mine came with 3 large (2x2), 2 long (2x1), 2 mini long (fit adjacent to the handle), and 8 square (1x1), totaling 15 compartments.

Q: Are the small orange bins that divide the inside of the boxes available for purchase anywhere so I can customize the layout inside the box?

I don’t know about buying the bins elsewhere, but they are all removable so it can be customized as long as the bins are the sizes you want.

Mine has 15 compartments of varying sizes. The 24 circles on the lid are decorative. It's a nice box to store screws and nails.
