Great look and fun to use
One thing I love about this book is the interactive way kids use it. I tested it out on a few younger (reluctant reader) students I work with and they were thrilled that it had a piece they could manipulate (the rocket). What they didn’t realize is that they were manipulating the book itself as they turned it slightly clockwise and counter-clockwise to read the text. Great way to hook in students who do not normally go for books. They had a lot of fun with it and raced the rocket along the groove many times, enamored with the new twist on a book.

More of a toy than a book
My 3 year old son is very into rockets and has been for a few months now. We have been buying rocket books here and there because it's really gotten him into books. This one is "fun" but there isn't much of a story or much content. It's really more about moving the little rocket along the pages, which is clunky for a kid to do in the first place. It also makes him not want to focus on the story because all he wants to do is play with the rocket. It's an okay book but I wouldn't buy it again. There are plenty of other rocket books out there that are much better.

Cute idea but the rocket ships pops off the track
I really liked the idea of this book but it was sold with the plastic on so I couldn't read before buying. There is not much of a storyline but by far the biggest issue is that the rocket pops out of the page at nearly every corner. I'm afraid if I can't properly operate it by 3.5 year old nephew doesn't have a chance at keeping in assembled.
