2U Server Cabinet Case 19 Inch Rack Mount Lockable Drawer with Key, 12.6 Inch Depth (2U)

Big fan. Easy to install. Lightweight. The drawer doesn't "latch" shut, but for my needs it's not a deal breaker. Feels solid, looks great, fits well into a traditional rack!Super functional and enough room for simple small cable storage and batteries and such.

Perfect fit in my diy equipment rack. I actually just wanted a blank space there for front access to the rack guts and the patch panel as equipment is added and subtracted from the rack every so often, so I figured a little storage would be a better use of that space. The rack has a 10° slant backward, so I have to hold the drawer open to retrieve wires and whatnot, but it doesn't slam when I let go; it's not hydraulic or self closing but it's really close to that. All it's really missing is a couple of pull handles on the front side to enable easier removal; if I get around to customizing and adding my own, I'll update with some pics.

The 12.6-inch depth is just right, and the lockable drawer adds an extra layer of security.It feels sturdy, operates smoothly, and was easy to install. Have order multiple of these, they open and close really well and do exactly what they should. They feel sturdy and the wire routing grommets are a nice touch. I did have one come that looked like it had been dropped and significantly dented. A replacement was sent the very next day, so overall extremely pleased!

I was searching for an inexpensive 2U drawer. Overall the drawer isn't bad, but there are several things about it that I don't care for. The chassis of the drawer isn't one solid piece, the rack mount ears need to be attached, which weren't perfectly straight. the drawer does not have any kind of latch to keep it closed other that the lock. The drawer itself drags on the component below when you open and close it.Now for the things I do like about it. There are rubber grommets in the back of the drawer, making it easy to run power or any other type of cable into the drawer. The finish is a nice black finish. The chassis and drawer are made from a think enough material that it feels sturdy and should last a while. When the drawer is not rubbing another component the drawer glides feel pretty smooth.Overall, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the drawer or return it yet. I don't write too many reviews, but I figured I would share my observations about this rack mount drawer.

I've had this drawer for about a year, I use it regularly, typically used multiple (6-12) times a day. The drawer moves in and out and locking mechanism works properly, slides are in excellent shape still. I highly recommend this product to everyone interested, this is also affordable.

it did come with a slight bend on the front however it's able to be realigned easily. this is a problem with almost all server equipment on amazon as I've ordered from sysrack and Rosewill too. You might have to get your own cage nuts since these are a little too small for some reason but luckily I had my own from sysrack
