Great!!
I used this product to stiffen some cotton fabric for a roller blind. I'm not really into crafts normally, so I was worried it should be kept in the hands of the more experienced. However, having read all the reviews saying how easy it is to use, I thought I'd go for it.One word of caution, the spray head has a wide distribution setting and a narrow distribution setting. Sods law, having not realised this I set it to narrow distribution, which is far to powerful and the product started to run. I only sprayed a few times on this setting before I realised it couldn't be right, but I was worried it would ruin the overall effect. However, once the fabric was dried there was no way of knowing, so 5* for idiot-proof ease of use!I read some reviews saying a second coating was necessary, so I gave my fabric a good dousing first time and it came out perfect. I've probably got about 1/4 of the bottle left after spraying a 1.5 x 2m piece of fabric (I did it indoors, so no wind factor), so maybe I went a bit overboard, but the results are great. I'm so happy I decided to give it a go myself rather than pay hundreds for a custom blind!4* for value for money - some reviews suggest the product is merely watered down PVA, in which case it's very expensive for what it is. However, it still saved me £££s so I can't mark it down too much.

Need plenty to stop fraying of fabric
I found my initial cut frayed badly. ( making roller blinds) I thought I had paid particular attention to the edges but discovered that you need to really apply a great deal of adhesive to stop fraying . I ended up using a paint brush and brushed the adhesive on rather than the spray. This worked much better .

Quality product
I bought this to stiffen up material for some blinds. Sprayed on 3 coats allowing each to dry before applying the next and it make a huge difference. The fabric is stiffer and seems to have more weight to it. Next step is to attach it to the blind roller. Well worth the money.

It will stiffen fabric.
Used this to make a roller blind and it's up and looks fine. But disappointed that it appears to be just a watered down pva glue. Additional coats may be required depending upon how rigid you want the fabric. Reduces fraying. I am just worried about it's longterm use in a bathroom with shower.

Brilliant
Very impressed on how stiff my fabric dried after spraying. In the end I didn’t need to do a second coat. Also the colour didn’t change after spraying.Brilliant

Leaves an uneven lumpy texture
Shook bottle but texture was like lumpy watered down pva. Stiffened fabric a little but not enough. It was a thinner cotton than I'd used previously on other blinds so not sure if that helped. Blind is working but some slight fraying on edges. Wouldn't use again but it was cheaper than other products used previously.

It works but I may have used too much of it
Got exactly what I wanted to make a roller blind using fixings I already had. Delivered very quickly. Only thing that would make it better would be better detail on how much to use. Some areas of material got wetter than others. Eg spray lightly or more thoroughly? Etc.

Recommended
Used on substantial fabric to make a blind. It was recommended to help prevent the edges from fraying and mostly it has. I've now done two further applications and it seems to be working better. I would buy again because this is the one that's most recommended.
