The Atlas of Monsters

An absolutely gorgeous book. Fascinating to read, I've studied some of the maps and monsters with my Y5 class and it has really ignited their imagination. There's also a secret code to crack with clues on every page which they have all been racing to crack! Fab size too, it's a large book. Highly recommend.

A lovely book on many ways and an excellent idea, but it's hamstrung by a truly terrible choice of typeface. It's tiny, reproduces poorly in print and has clearly been chosen for style over legibility, which is a shame.

In book there are many pictures of monsters around the world and small description about them. But due to the small font size and many pictures that has it's getting boring. It is hard to enjoy the reading specially talking about ages by 6 years old.An another disadvantage is the basic research about "monsters" around the world.I would not recommend it.

This book looks & feels great with excellent pictures depicting the different creatures from around the world. My 8 yr old loves flicking through and it holds his attention more than most books I've tried.

This book is amazing. Every time you go to it you find something new. My class have gotten so many ideas from it to stimulate writing. It would be great for any child...and adult.

Such an amazing book the illustrations are so beautiful and the different folklore monsters are so fun!
