Very happy with these!
I normally wear anywhere from a 7.5 to an 8 in tennis shoes so ordered an 8. At first they do fit somewhat snug, but after a short time they relax and stretch a little and now fit perfectly. There isn't really any arch support, but I don't really expect that in slippers. I should note...I go barefoot when warm enough and only wear shoes when leaving the house and slippers only when cold. These are comfortable though. Very soft insole and don't fall off while you're walking. The rubber soles allow outside trips for the morning paper or the afternoon mail without worry of wet or cold feet. I also don't have to worry about slipping on my wood floors or concrete garage/laundry floor. They are warm for winter without being bulky and getting hot. Nice balance of warmth and light material. Love these and would buy them again!

Sizing issues.
bought this as a gift for a family member who has the acorn spa slippers for winter and loves them. I thought it would be a nice summer alternative with a little padding still, however I had to buy twice and return twice. She said they are nice and soft and lightweight and have a bit of padding/support (as I had hoped), but she wears a half size--first I sized up and they literally fell off her feet as she walked, then I returned for the size down and she said it pushed painfully on her toes...I imagine they are comfortable if you can get the right sizing...wish they made 1/2 sizes or constructed them so they fit a range of sizes instead of exactly one even shoe size.

I hate buying slippers
I always feel ripped off. They always "kind of" fit and there's always a seam that somehow rubs in just the wrong spot. Anyway, these don't do that! They are sewn beautifully and have a small arch support-for those of you with a high arch, don't misinterpret, I mean small. It's just enough that the slipper isn't completely flat inside. As for the sweat factor, I can't really judge until I'm wearing them all the time.My foot is a bit on the wide side and although they aren't the PERFECT fit, the shape of the slipper accommodates my foot at the widest point.A bit expensive, but, they fit well and are nicely made. I will buy them again when they wear out. I also like that they don't look like "slippers". Winter will be the true test...

love these slippers...have several pairs
Perfect fit for me as I have a narrow-medium width sizing need and these are just right.......love the colours.........just wish I had bought them at Sears when they were first there (never again since) as they were about half the price I had to pay here! And no s/h fee with in store shopping..Most slippers now days are very wide and sloppy.....not these...so if you have a narrow to medium foot, this would work for you.

Expensive yes but well worth the price
This is my fourth pair of acorn slippers and I just love them. I wear them out every year and search for them on Amazon. I'm always disappointed to find that the pair I wore last year is no longer available. However, the quality of acorn slippers is so good that I always find a new pair to wear and are just as happy with them. These are made in an Asian country and so the sizes are a bit different than our US sizes. I wear a medium wide size 7 and a half to 8 shoe in u.s. sizes and I buy a large an acorn slippers.

Too short to be a size 9...slippers should be more "roomy" than shoes.
I wear a size 9 shoe. The slippers I purchased were sized on the inside as "9". They were sized wrongly! They are too short to be a 9 and when compared to the other Acorn slipper I purchased which is size 8/9 and roomy and comfortable, the ones I am sending back are sized WRONG! Too short when compared to the 8/9 sole..hoping to get my shipping cost back because of the screw -up in the size...Acorn needs to advise customers accordingly..measure the bottom of the sole to the other slippers...big difference!

Good House Slipper
I like the shoe. But they aren't as sturdy as I would like. They are fine if all you want is a house slipper. I like the fit and feel. But they don't hold up to walking out on the patio, get dirty if they get wet. There are better choices if you need a more robust house slipper.

They are very comfortable as house shoes
I have two other pairs of these so I knew what to expect. They are very comfortable as house shoes. I like the rubber sole so I can go outside, even when damp. There is arch support, a roll of fabric on the instep, and the sole is padded, but I could not call it arch support. They are the first thing I put on whe I come home, year round! I now have five pairs😉
