A boring book if you have statistical background

Too hard to understand the maths formulas which feature very heavily.

It is simple and accessible. It includes basic concepts of statistics, but there are typos and a lot of the figures in the book do not have a title. Hence, it is difficult to link the text to the description of the table.

This book looks like lecture notes. The structure of contents is interesting but the book is poorly designed. The publisher should improve its layout of the book. The content itself is not academic and suitable for the general readers.

This book is essentially a textbook introduction to statistics, though perhaps slightly more accessible. However, it does not at all live up to the title. It does not give rich examples of detecting misinformation, and lacks lively real-world examples.
