For the entire family
We have two four year olds. They were due to upgrade from their 360 stainless cups which we’ve loved now for three years. But they were starting to require more refills and the lids starting to need replacement.I went on the hunt for a larger kid friendly option and checked out every cup in the store. They had to be leak proof, larger capacity, stainless, and easy to travel with. A few things sold me on the reduce bottles over all the others.I ended up getting the 50 and 40 oz versions for us and the kids version for our four year olds.Pros-Integrated silicone footing. My favorite feature that none of the others cups had. This makes the cups grip surfaces better and silent. I LOVE that detail and it really made me hope this was the one. Because they are integrated they don't get gunk in them and they are thick enough they actually work.Clear top- We had the popular kids brand, starts with a z, for smoothies, but the boys stopped wanting to drink out of them because they wanted to see the color of the drinks. Also the capacity wasn’t great and options for designs on the stainless were so so.Cup holder friendly- Must have.Open Grip- Easier to hang in a pinch off of handle bars or pant pockets.Easy Cleaning- Easily fit my entire hand into the cup and even the top cleans up in a breeze.Straw and pour- Versatile drinking options. My husband and I do not like straws, these pour beautifully.Lightweight- Let me tell you I was set on getting the popular, starts with an O brand, but when I went into the store the adult 40 oz felt heavy and awkward. Rally important I want to carry these around, otherwise I’ll hesitate to use them, and dehydrate myself lol.Leak proof (kids version)- The kids version (O brand) was a remarkable spend and not at all leak proof which is essential with small kids. The Reduce somehow feel lighter and are easy to carry and travel with. Adult version doesn’t leak unless you have the straw in or open.Suction top- No threading, the adult sizes are a suction, pull off top, this means you can put the lip where you want it for easy drinking!Insulation- These stay cold. I saw some of the negative reviews on this. I was confused and worried that they wouldn’t keep temperature… They do, in a hot car for an hour and my water was still glacier. What I will say is that if you’re using the plastic straw, air can escape and mix inside the vessel, if you are using the pour, make sure the straw closer is securely closed. Reduce has silicone straws they sell separately and those would maybe insulate the straw opening better (also better for you.) They will still stay colder longer, but not as long if air can get in the sides of the straw.Measurements- Easy to read. This doesn’t do much for me, but every detail is considered for this brand and the price is a steal for the detail and quality.Colors and options- Expansive to say the least. Literally every option imaginable and great varieties for kids too!Lifetime warranty- Wow.Cons-Plastic straw- But I did see they sell silicone versions. We dont use straws (wrinkles.)

Reduce Cold1 40 and 50 oz Tumblers Are My Go-To Tumblers
I have been using Reduce Cold1 Tumblers for 10 years now. I also use the Reduce Cold1 Stainless Insulated Lid which results in outstanding ice retention. It's much better with the Insulated Lid than it is with the Standard Lid. The anticipated ice retention times are accurately displayed on the lid packaging. My experience is I take 2 50oz tumblers with Insulated Lids to work at 6 in the morning, working outside, with them in the truck with windows rolled up, they keep everything cold all day, and even have enough ice to refill from an non-insulated container and have cold liquids for over 12 hours. Do not expect the same retention from smaller sizes (as noted on the packaging). My 40oz with the same lid pushes 12 hours ice retention, but nowhere near the 50oz. The ice retention with the original lid is not as efficient, as is to be expected. I'm not as happy with the Powder Coated Tumblers as I am the Gloss Painted ones. The first one I ordered with powder coat arrived with chips around the rim. It's further been my experience that the Gloss Painted finishes are far superior and durable to the Powder Coated finishes. Granted, they not be "in style" or anything like that, but the functionality is far superior to the Powder Coated finishes. I have yet to experience any chipping (or scratching) on the tumblers 40 and 50 oz tumblers with the Gloss Finish. Powder Coat??? As previously stated, some Powder Coated Tumblers arrive chipped out of the box. Please keep that in mind if you decide to purchase Powder Coat. As one reviewer mentioned, I wasn't as happy with the length of the straws in the 50oz mug, and purchased 15 inch 6mm inner diameter flexible silicone straws (that came with cleaning brushes) I've used very satisfactorily. I'm obviously a very satisfied Reduce Cold1 Repeat Customer. I do highly recommend the Stainless and Gloss Finish Tumblers, and while I've had the same Ice / Cold retention from the Powder Coated ones, I cannot highly recommend them as well, due to the inherent characteristics of the Powder Coat to display wear (chip, scratch) when subjected to equal use. I hope this helps you with your decisions. (Admittedly, I did add some tweaks, but that does not detract from the quality I've experienced with Reduce Cold1 Tumblers.)I've come back to answer some concerns I've seen about Ice Retention in other sizes. I've owned Reduce Cold 1 Tumblers for over 10 years, back when the only options were to order from the Reduce Cold 1 Web Site, or Brick And Mortar stores, if you were lucky enough to find any that carried them, long before they became available on Amazon. I own 30 oz, 32 oz, 34 oz, 40 oz, and 50 oz tumblers. It has been my personal experience that the smaller the tumbler, the less ice retention you will experience, even using the Stainless Insulated Lids, which I use religiously when I'm going to be outside or traveling. If you are interested in sizes smaller than 40 oz, be advised, the 40 and 50 oz sizes have superior ice retention. Look up the Reduce Cold 1 Stainless Insulated Lid, and compare what the manufacturer advises you can expect in ice retention. They do practice "Truth In Advertising." The smaller the tumbler? The less time you'll experience when it comes to ice retention. (In fact, my Sam's Club House Brand 32 oz tumbler has roughly the same ice retention as my 32 oz Reduce 1, but since the 50 oz is my Go-To and 40 oz my fall-back, I'm extremely happy with the ice retention using those sizes.) If ice retention is your primary objective in your decision, please keep in mind the smaller the tumbler, the less ice retention you can expect before you purchase. Reduce Cold 1 is still my primary tumbler, regardless of size. Because of the reliability I've experienced, the only reason to purchase a new tumbler now is because they have a new color that gets my (or family member's) attention...Not for any other reason. One last suggestion, if you are experiencing problems with the seals after years of use? After all, the seals do not last forever, and shouldn't be expected to either. I recommend Reduce Cold 1 Seals instead of wasting time trying others searching for a fit (the voice of experience from searching for best fit before I found Reduce Cold1 Seals, when available).

Great for the price
I had this one and I have a 28oz one as well of this brand there both good but I feel like this one holds longer and better my drinks stay ice cold if it tips over it doesn’t leak that bad but only really if you have the straw in and it’s good quality all though mine came with a dent in the bottom it wasn’t major but I didn’t feel like returning it it still does well and I love it and for cleaning I just hand wash everything that’s just how I like to clean my tumblers and this does fit into car cup holders it might not fully if you have a small car but it still fits with out falling over

Good Buy!
I love this cup. I’ve hesitated to buy one for a long time because they’re so big and so heavy and I didn’t think they would fit in my cupholder. I saw this one in the grocery store and then found it on Amazon for half the price. Thought it was worth a try. It’s not really heavy even with water and ice and it fits in my cupholder. Yay. I recommend it.

love it!
I carry this with me everywhere. I live in FL and it is waay too hot here now during summer and this is able to keep my water cool even if I leave it in the car for a few hours. It's lightweight, great quality, and very cute.

Keeps ice for about 6-8 hours.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had a revue previously and loved it. Quality:It works good. Not near as good as the old one, but that one was 15 years old and is no longer in production.Insulating capacity:Pretty Decent. It doesn't hold ice over night like the old one did, but nearly about 6-7 hours.Functionality:I do love the new feature of the handle.Lid quality:The lid is terrific. If I could add a design tip for the straw: put little 'feet' or ribs on the bottom of the straw so that when it's drawn on, it doesn't pull on the bottom of the cup.
