Definitely gives dishes the numbingly spicy taste in Mala. Tastes even better when drinking tea with your food. Like the other reviews said the spout is really bad, you end up leaking ~5% of whatever you pour and always need tissue nearby to catch the drips so that it doesn't end up everywhere.

Delivered as described. Was looking for the numbing effect for some Asian food dishes I was making. This worked well. Bottle size should last quite awhile since it just takes a little to get the desired effect.

I make a lot of Asian dishes, especially Chinese, and I enjoy the taste of sichuan peppercorns. But I don't always have the time to grab the bag, mortal and pestle, etc. So this is a quick way to add that numbing and flavorful taste of the peppercorns without the extra steps. The other benefit is you don't get all the semi crunch you'd get with the real thing. I am using this more often than I expected because of how much it brings out the flavor of Asian dishes. I will be running out soon and may have to purchase another one. Highly recommend

Very good! The bottle leaks a drop out the neck when pouring, but that's not an issue. It gets 5 stars. Get your own oil bottle. I think its one of the best garnish oils for Asian style stir-fry and especially soup. I made something similar to kkanpunggi, and it worked really really well as a garnish.

I really enjoyed this peppercorn oil. It tastes authentic and I mainly used it for noodles. The cap is terrible though - it was quite leaky and hard to keep clean.

C'est un gout tres interessant. Ca sublime vraiment un plat asiatique. Attention il faut vraiment en mettre tres peu c'est assez puissant mais tres interessant comme gout.
