Hunchback of Notre Dame, The (Real Reads) (French Classics)

A great book for a confident young reader, this is attractively produced, and illustrated throughout. It starts with an introduction to each of the important characters, which makes it easy for children to remember who was who (particularly since the names are French). It is obviously simplified from the original, but still remains well written, and vocabulary was stretching for a 7-year-old girl. She very much enjoyed reading this book.All in all, a good adaptation of a classic, and recommended for a confident young reader.
