Our dog Betty has figured out how to get her big fat head and body through fences at friends houses. We had to find something to keep her from getting out so I found this adorable watermelon. I originally bought the large based on measurements but since she has such short stumpy legs her body is lower to the ground and it was too big. I got the medium instead and it fit perfectly. You can see in the photos she can’t get out of the fence and she literally could care less that she has it on. She can run around and play, sleep with it on and it stays in place so it’s not moving around in circles. We didn’t use the collar it came with but you can attach your collar through it if you want, it fit well enough that we didn’t need to. Definitely recommend this item if you have a dog that can get through fences.

I bought this because my dog had a small wound on her front leg that we needed her to stop licking. She seemed traumatized when we first put it on and started freaking out, but she settled down after about 20 minutes.Pros: It was very easy to blow up and put on. There is inside collar piece to buckle and then a strap that can be used to adjust the size of the blow up. It has only been a week, but it has held up well. We haven’t had to reblow it up. She is able to rest with it on and it doesn’t seem to bother her anymore.Cons: Our dog has been able to reach her leg up and lick, but it is more challenging for her.

Our dog has a hot spot on his paw that he will not leave alone. We decided to get this for him so it will actually heal. Unfortunately we didn’t realize that it wasn’t wide enough and he could still get to his paw. It was cute and probably would work fine to keep away from a neuter or something on the body. But not to keep from licking a paw. Have to return it. :(

Admittedly, inflatables and barbed wire are never a good mix, so I don't think it fair to fault the company here, but this lasted one day on my crazy little farm girl before it deflated. That said, even somewhat deflated, it was an effective deterrent that allowed her to live her doggie life with minimal discomfort and without licking her staples. And blowing it up is easy enough, that I just snag her a now and then and give it some more air. Well worth the money. I think we'll get a donut next.
