It works absolutely fine - just obviously not 'portable' like it would be with the hanger. The inner bin part still slips out of the frame easily to change bin liner/clean etc. **Q: Hi, I've a bespoke kitchen sink door (door closes inside a frame) and the exact width of the door IS 360mm, will this bin be suitable for me to use?** A: The exact width of the bin is 295mm, I have just measured it for you. Now upon looking at it, it seems that when the door closes you are going to need sufficient space for the inside carcass of the cupboard. Find something 295mm long and 8.5" deep and that would be a near perfect size comparison for you to try before you buy. Based on the 360mm I would say yes this should fit, but now you have 2 options, you can make a template and try, or buy based on what has been said, worse case scenario you send it back, but I would say 360mm it should be just fine :) **Q: We would like to purchase one of these but if we take in the hinges, we only have 23.5cm clearance. Can you advise** A: I have just measured mine and the widest part is exactly 23.5cm clearance. The bins are very stable so there is no sideways rocking which would increase the possible width problem but it is hard to advise as I don't know if your hinges would catch on it with so little width tolerance. You would also have to be very exact with the marking out, drilling and screwing down the base runners as there is NO room for even 2mm of error.
