My second purchase, the Nord 5 is simple to use reliable and the battery is decent.Using the 0.23ohm rpm 3 coils, vaping at 18w gives me a battery lifetime that lasts all day.The kit comes with a single pod with a cool already inside, and an extra coil in the pack.Setup is pretty standard for a mod these days has all the settings you need.Excellent flavour from the coils, and a great price for a long battery life.When using my phones fast charger, it charges at 9w instead of the standard 5w using a regular us outlet, so it's not fast charge but it's decent.Overall, I recommend the Nord 5. Coils last a good week or two, and aren't too expensive.

Pleased with this Smok Vape as it’s lasted for months and it’s still working..I've found with Vapes that they are pretty much hit or miss and they don’t always last for long.. I do need to buy a replacement top for it as the rubber seal were you fill it has now virtually withered away but overall it’s worth the price that was paid for it..would buy this model again

It looks great and fancied a Smok Nord as a friend had the Nord 4 and thinks it is great. Oh look, Nord 5.....must be better. Noooo, it' the opposite, rubbish! Oh great, my return date was 2 days ago, thought using my old vape until coil ran out was a good idea, guess not. So annoyed, venting through my words.

Can't beat smok for their devices. I have multiple devices and they're all great this is no different.

Purchased after several months whining about burning through the coils on my Nord 4 rapidly and finally realising the battery in it was actually just kaput so the coils kept overheating (it cost £20 and lasted a year so I've no complaints).Having had good experiences with the Nord range for years I figured the latest model would be the natural choice for my new vape. I'd like to state here as an aside that I vape to avoid smoking rather than recreationally so my usage of it may differ to other peoples. From the first coil I popped in there I found I was getting the same use span out of them as I'd get from a vape I'd been using for a year+ which I'd usually subscribe to an overheating, aging battery. I only get 3 days use out of a pod before it starts not just tasting gross but causing me to cough. At first I thought maybe I was buying counterfeit coils but I've bought them from several sources and found the same issue everywhere. I know how to prep a coil before inserting it and have gone to more care in that regard than usual to make sure that isn't the issue. I'm pretty sure now that the problem is in the design of the spout (or whatever you call the bit you put in your mouth). It's larger than on previous Nords and if you put this thing in your pocket as you go about your business you better make sure that pocket is immaculately kept as any bit of lint or dirt is going to go straight into that call and start burning the coil and giving your lungs hell if you don't pay attention. When I take the coils out they look as dark as mud so I dread to think what that's doing to my respiratory system (and that's me speaking as someone who happily inhaled cigarette fumes for two decades).I guess this is more a review of of the pods and coils than the vape itself but since the latter is just a shiny little battery without the latter they both go hand in hand. I've also noticed that with the magnet holding the pod in place on this model being stronger than before, the two moulded bits of plastic that the pods consist of separate over a shorter amount of time than before forcing you to have to replace them more frequently. I feel the Nord 5 is not just a step back from it's predecessors but perhaps a cynical lurch towards planned obsolescence on the part of Smok. I just want a vape I never have to think about.

Not happy. Had so much promise in first couple of weeks now all it does is leak. Looking for an upgrade
