No center hole threads to secure weight
I made these work for my purposes, but I was not aware that the only load bearing support for the chandelier was via two screws that threaded thru the canopy and secured via two screws feeding through the cross bracket of the electrical box. Most canopies have a center piece that threads directly into the center of the inside cross bracket. This center threading provides substantially more weight support. I Jerry-rigged a wire thru the center support tied to the electrical box in the ceiling to provide the additional support I was more comfortable with. So these canopies and hardware are good for relatively lighter hangings of baskets, minimal light fixtures, but if you have a very heavy chandelier with lots of glass, you might pay close attention to the weight the specs listed for this and the light.

Perfect match!
Nice quality and the oil rubbed bronze color was a perfect match in color and pattern to the other canopy I needed to match. The manufacturer of the first canopy was going to charge me 3 times as much. I know...it's just a light canopy.

Strange color but price made it worth it
The color was a a little different than I expected. I thought it would be a consistent bronze/dark brown color all over instead of having a noticeably light tan center. Once it was installed, it's not all that noticeable so we kept it.The center hole was a bit narrow and we had some difficulty feeding the power cord through but we made it work.For the price, this is a decent value.

I replaced a chandelier that was installed in 1962 and this kit worked fabulous to get the new one installed quickly and correctly.

inconsistent color
ordered a 2 pack took one out looked good, took out second and like some of the negative reviews mine too had a less bronze more gold appearance in the center of canopy. They don't match. NOT AT ALL WHAT I WANTED. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I hope no one notices how different they look once the light is up.
