Amazing fit with orthotic inserts!
These shoes are the only ones I've found that fit just right. I recently had new custom orthotics that made the toe bed in most my other shoes too small. I also have a narrow heel, so I can't wear wide shoes or my heel slips right out when I walk. I jog trails and sidewalks so I need well cushioned trail running shoes. These shoes are perfect! They have a wide toe bed but normal size heel space. The laces can go really far back, so that also keeps my heel in place when jogging. They have a tiny loop where the laces stop towards the toe, this fits the gator covers I use on the trails. The shoes are light and super comfortable!

Fav new trail shoe
Im a long distance trail runner in my 30s and I have severe bunions. I’ve been using the same pair of discontinued altras forever because they’re the only shoes that were comfortable me. I read a review that mentioned these have a wide toe box that works for bunions. This shoe shape is perfect for me. No pain or pushing on my feet. I went with the normal width. I’m normally between a 7.5-8 and went with the 8. The arch feels a little aggressive for me, but it hasn’t caused any issues yet. They’re also extremely lightweight. Highly recommend for any one with similar foot issues.

Thankful for the wide toe box!
Incredible to have wide toe box shoes. I have bunions and sized up 1/2 a size. Love having shoes that can accommodate my bunion and big toe spacers. Wish these were water resistant for hiking in damper conditions. Also wish they came in more neutral colors as I’m not crazy about this blue.

Great fit
I love the wide toe box but regular topos are too narrow in the midfoor for me. This one did the trick.

Amazing shoes!
These shoes are made for running, and while I'm not a runner, they are perfect for my needs. I had a talonvicular joint fusion done in November 2022, and was non-weight bearing for 12 weeks. I used an all terrain scooter to ambulate and began developing a bunion on the weight-bearing foot. I knew I needed to buy good walking shoes with a wide toe-box and through a lot of research I discovered Topo shoes. I've worn these now for two weeks and for several PT appointments. They are comfortable, sturdy, and promote heel-toe stride which is so crucial as my nerves, tendons and muscles are recovering from the trauma of surgery. I'm so happy I bought them.

Supportive, comfortable, but needs more room in toe box
Let me start by saying that I was NOT using them for hiking or running. I walk, but have joint pain and needed a shoe with a lot of cushioning to help absorb impact. I bought the 9W, and it was wide enough for my foot. It felt good pretty much everywhere, and I liked the Vibram grip. I really wanted to keep these. My feet are wide and flat, and it is hard to find a comfortable shoe. Ultimately I had to return them because the right shoe was just a bit too short for me. My 2nd toe is longer than my big toe, and it was scrunched up just a bit (others with a long 2nd toe will understand what I mean!!!). It seemed just a smidge too short, which is unusual because I am reliably a size 9 and never have to size up to a 9.5 unless the shoe runs small. Because it seemed too small by such a minimal amount, I kept the shoes for a couple of weeks. Finally got a blister along the top of my long toe, and I had to admit defeat and submit the return.

Coming apart after 1 month
I wear Topo shoes because they have extra room in the forefoot and follow the natural shape of the foot. They have a bit of drop, which I need for my Achilles issues. These Topo shoes were a HUGE letdown however - coming apart at the toes after a month of less than daily use! Not worth the money!** Seller reached out to offer refund but then when I accepted the offer they claimed it was a mistake…😕

Great Fit for a wide foot
I've returned 3 different pairs of tennis shoes before finding these that fit. I have wide feet with bunions and wear orthotic inserts, so I do have trouble finding comfortable shoes. These 8W Topo shoes are roomy in the toe base with a wider instep that gives plenty of room for my inserts and feet. Plus, they have such a great arch I think I can go without my inserts. My only issue with them and the majority of tennis shoes out now, is the net covering over the top. I do like the give it provides in the bunion area though. At age 68 I don't think I'm that hard on shoes...and can't believe I'm the only one who has issues with the net snagging and tearing.
