Should give this 5 stars but going to put in 4 because it does not have a signal as great as the factory. This is a more expensive stubby unit but you will notice some lack of signal on certain HD radio stations. I wanted something that I didn't have to remove at the car wash and this fits the bill but there is some loss of reception, not a lot, but enough to kick some channels out of HD into regular FM. If you like HD FM, you know there is a difference. Like going from 4k Blueray back to 1080p DVD, it is noticeable if you are used to the higher quality.

I never got a chance to use it. I installed it on my Indian roadmaster look nice. 48 hours after I put it on. I brushed up against it just slightly with my letters as putting them on and the housing you shattered into many pieces, don’t know if I had a defective one, but it was very brittle. I will not be buying another. I bought a similar product that was a aluminum.

I really thought that I would most likely be disappointed and return it with Amazon's easy return policy. This antenna works. I am getting perfect reception from channels I never got before. Wow.
