Braun Replacement Foil & Cutter - SyncroPro, Syncro, TriControl - 7000/4000 Series

Good product.

Finally got around to replacing the foil and cutter on my 10+ year old Braun 7000 series shaver. The last replacement was about 2 years ago, so well overdue!The item was delivered quickly and it was clear from the quality of the packaging, foil and cutter it was genuine (I had been ripped off once before when I bought from an Internet store and received what was clearly a fake - faded print on the card and dubious quality foil and cutter).The difference in the quality of the shave and the feel of the new foil on the skin is like day and night - much smoother feel and increased closeness. No more 'pulling' at the hairs due to blunt cutter blades - just glides across the face and leaves a smooth, close finish.Definitely worth the price and the 30 seconds or so it takes to replace them to gain another 12 - 18 months of like-new shaving experience.Happy with my experience with this seller and will certainly shop with them again.

My old 4776 had seen better days, batteries not holding a charge, foil damaged, cutters blunted. So I bought a new shaver, Braun Series 3 340. Persevered with this piece of junk for a few days but found to be utterly useless for anyone over the age of about 14. As much bite as a toothless shark. So decided to renovate the old 4776 with new foil and cutters and new batteries from Pound shop (originals were Ni-Cd but Ni-MH work just as well). Now good as new. New foil mount is of black plastic, rather than silver so does not match the rest of the shaver in appearance, but it fits OK. Metal foil mesh is of a different design to the original and cutter blades attack horizontally rather than edgewise. but overall job shaves well. A bit pricey for what they are, but that's Braun spares for you.

Delighted with new cutter and foil. What a difference it makes. I originally thought that Braun recommending these be changed every 18 months was just for their benefit. Clearly I was wrong and you do get a much smoother shave after inserting new ones.I have an old Braun 7570 shaver which came with a clean and renew unit. I would recommend the clean and renew unit for cleaning the cutter and foil as it makes it less likely that you will damage the cutter block compared to using the brush and spray to clean it.Clean and renew cartridges are available from Amazon and you can even arrange a subscription so that they send them before you run out.Braun CCR3 Clean & Renew Refill Cartridges - 3-PackOnce your Braun stops giving you a nice clean, smooth shave it is getting time to change the cutter and foil. Just thought it worth adding to the other reviews, which I agree with, that this pack will work perfectly with the Braun 4776 shaver, which is itemised in the compatibility list. The new foil has a black surround, rather than the silver of the original, slightly differently shaped and the bottom piece of the cutter base is orange rather than black. These things made me wonder whether I should press the 'buy' button and I spent a long time trying to compare my shaver to the picture to be sure all would be OK. In fact, the replacement fits fine and is actually an upgrade, because the foil pattern is different and better, possibly also the cutters, allowing me a more comfortable and close shave than I got with the original. On that basis, it has to be 5 stars - oh, and its pretty reasonably priced,too.

I have owned the Braun shaver for around six years and to be honest have only used it sporadically.Recently I decided to return to an electric shave after years of wet shaving and this purchase was part of bringing the Braun back up to spec. The parts are well packaged in a blister pack and easily removed. Fitting them to the shaver is easy as you should be removing the originals frequently in order to clean the shaver.The shaving results are much improved with the new foil and cutter fitted. A worthwhile product at a reasonable price.

In a word, this grinder is the dog's. That's two words. In two words, this grinder is the dog's. I've been getting into making curry recently and freshly ground cumin plus corriander makes a real difference. I have a pestle and mortar, but it takes forever to grind the corriander as the husks just won't break down. I bought this after reading a review online that says it pulverises everything inc the dreaded corriander seed. So I thought I'd give it a try. Top job on everything I've tried so far. Loving the multiple grind dishes. It's great that they come with covers. Even better that everything is dishwasher proof. Also safe, in that you can't (easily) start it with the cover off. Well, you could hack it if you really wanted to - but why?!? Finally, it's quiet compared to some other grinders. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought the Braun replacement foil & cutter because I have a Braun electric razor. It's that simple. As far as replacing the old blade goes, it cuts better and more cleanly and I would expect it to because it is new. I would recommend that anyone with a Braun electric razor should buy this because if you buy some other replacement blade, the chances are that it won't fit onto it ;P. As far as product quality goes, Braun has always been reliable and my face has remained beard free for many years now. It's all I could ask for from a shaving implement.
