Having been a million miles from the stage at the Hampden park gig in Glasgow during the Black Ice tour, I was desparate for the DVD of the tour to be released, to get a closer look at the band in action. It's been worth the wait!! The sound and vision quality are 5 star and AC/DC are professional performers. Make no mistake, this is a stage show, in the same manner as a show like We Will Rock You; every move of the band is rehearsed and choreographed along with the appearance of the various album related props; there's no sign of half finished tinnies on stage either...this is clearly the bands workplace! OK, Phil Rudd has a few fags, but hey, it's still rock'n'roll!The set list is a dream for fans and there's no let up in the momentum, from the opening track until the last. The performance of the band is also perfect; there's no gratuitous guitar solo's here...just quick fire, three or four minute segments of musical dynamite!! And on the crazy numbers, the shots of the crowd in action are pure rock'n'roll.The bonus material is the only aspect I would consider could be improved, perhaps with more interviews with the band, however, this is a small gripe and doesn't detract from the 5 star rating.Again, I must mention the quality...the HD/Blue Ray really makes this item special; compare this with a grainy copy of filmed rock gigs from years ago...there's absolutely no comparison. A must have item...ten quids worth of pure pleasure!!!

Probably the best AC/DC gig of all time. Excellent quality, just fantastic.

Saw them at the NEC before they"retired" and they were bloody fantastic then but in their mid fifties (Brian in his 60's) they seem even better. The rest did them good. The whole dvd is beautifully made and the concert is as live as a director could make it. 32 cameras to juggle but cut to perfection. AC/DC is a band that relies on one main man (I liked the fact that Angus still wears the schololboy gear. It is his trademark after all) but the engine room is the best in the business and this film gives them credit by occasionally giving them airtime. Approximately 66,000 hot blooded argies (especially the ladies) and the best live band around create the perfect dvd experience although I feel that you had to see it live to get the initial train wreck to its full extent. Conclusion....f'ck'g brilliant!!!!!!!

The audience partisipation is fantastic

Okay I admit it, I found this on YouTube and it totally blew me away. So finally fed up of having to keep re-booting my wifi hub and trying to remember where I was in the show, I decided to buy this and got the T-shirt as well! Best move I made. It really comes alive on my big screen and the movement of the packed audience is hypnotising. Angus's work rate and mastery just keep going through the whole show. I'm a similar age and wish I had his energy! All the old hits are there with some off the new album .I've only recently 'found' AC/DC and cannot believe what I've missed all these years.Don't hesitate go and buy it.

What’s not to Love AC/DC put it on crank it up

Watch a crowd of 200,000 butt rockers go nuts as Brian Johnson and Angus Young crank out AC/DC standards! A must have!
