Exactly what I needed
I recently decided to switch tanks from a 90l to a 300l so was in desperate need of a light that was large enough while also providing adequate light for my plants. So when I stumbled upon this I thought it looked like great quality and decided to give it a go.•The light seems to be made of decent quality and provides a wide variety of light options ie intensity of light, color spectrum, and 24 hour timers.•The remote attached to the light is simple and straight forward while giving you exactly what you need.•Extremely easy to use but the instructions provided can help with any confusion.•I have managed to drip some water on the light unit and there has been no issues so it seems to be waterproof to that extent.•My plants look lovely and green under the light but time will tell on if it is sufficient for growth or not.Overall, I’d say this light is functional, easy to use, and worth the price. Time will tell on how well it holds up over time.

Excellent cost effective aquarium light
I have had this light for nearly a year now and I am am very happy with it. The light quality is very good with aquatic plants growing well. The functionality with regards to the timer is simple but effective, with the light ramping up in brightness. The only downside is that while the timer runs on 24 hour cycle there is no clock function. This means that, if for example you wanted to select the 6 hour light period, you must be present and set the timer at the time of day when you want the light period to begin. This can be annoying if you happen to power off the light, as you have to then make yourself available for next day and time when you would like to set the timer. Still I would probably buy this again for a similar size tank.

Good value aquarium light
I was looking for a light for my planted aquarium and this was priced rather keenly. At only £15 more than the T5 bulb I was looking for, I thought that it would be worth a punt. It came on time and well packaged so things started well. Unpacked it and it was really easy to set up. Not the most elaborate features wise, but I wasn't expecting miracles for the price. However, I found that it offers an excellent range of light density from 0-100% in 10% increments, which is good and also blue light for dusk/night time. I also liked the way the timer fades in and fades out the light over a 15 minute period to reduce the shock to the fish. You're not able to set a time when it goes on and off, merely an operating period (6h, 10h or 12h), but it does remember when you turned it on the previous day and replicates it, so that'll do for me. The switch itself isn't waterproof, so I've used some cling film and tape to protect it against accidental splashes, so it looses one star for practicality, along with the fact that you cant lock the adjustable arms either (although they seem quite sturdy). However, despite these small issues, I'm very pleased with this product at this price point and would recommend it.Only time will tell how it survives long term and I may update my review later to reflect that.

solid choice for freshwater tanks
The SEAOURA LED Aquarium Light is a solid choice for freshwater tanks, offering strong plant growth support, vibrant lighting, and useful features. While the buttons can be a bit confusing at first, they provide good options for adjusting brightness and timers. Great value for the price!

It’s really good
I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase, it’s really bright and I love how it has expandable brackets which means I could still use it if I ever upgrade my tank.its abit pricey but worth every penny, it is very easy to install and it fits perfectly on my 180l vision tank. Not sure if it will last but I hope it does as it is really easy to function. I definitely recommend this product

Very flimsy - waste of money
Cheap rubbish! DO NOT BUY!!The aluminium housing is not strong enough to hold it's own weight across the width of the tank, so it gradually bends in the middle. I had the misfortune of buying two of these (I have two tanks) and both have done exactly the same.. the smaller of my tanks, the middle of the light is all but at water level, so I fully expect corrosion and failure to ensue.AVOID!

Fantastic lighting
I'm very impressed with the build quality, ease of use and the options for colour and brightness. It's very compact and I like the timer options. I will definitely be purchasing more for other projects

Fantastic lights!
I have three of the smallest size on separate aquariums and oh my, do they ever pack a punch!Plants go crazy under them and my fish just radiate colour, the white lighting colour is a really nice natural (6500k) colour but you can cool it by turning some of the blue LEDS on (I run the white/colour on 7-8/10 and the blue on the 3/10 setting). The provided timer settings are really convenient and work really well (they do get slightly out of sync so you occasionally have to re-set it, but it's a small price to pay for the rest of the value they have to offer.Feedback for the manufacture, please make another version that's a bit slimmer width ways! I want to put another set on my Fluval Spec 60L (There isn't many third party options for this tank let alone good quality cheap ones) and the sliding rails take up so much width of the light (overall the light is 8.7cm wide) that it doesn't fit in the recess on the lid, if the rails were closer into the body of the light slimming the overall width down to 7.2-7.3cm they'd fit the recess in the lid perfectly 🙌.
