After a problem with the sound output from my PC desktop motherboard, I looked online and found this on Amazon.It had very good reviews so I took a chance.It arrived this afternoon, and I just plugged it in to a spare USB, plugged in my speakers and it worked, straight out of the box!So easy and simple, great sound quality, and for just under a tenner, stunning value.

Bought this as the PC speaker output had stopped working on my desktop.Just plug into a spare USB port and then Windows Setup automatically changes sound output to USB Audio Device.Very good quality of PC speakers which are now working again

This works well and the volume control is handy. Also with two sockets I can have speakers in one and headphones in the other.

To be honest, I don't notice much difference between my PC onboard sound card and this, but the main issue I had with the onboard was that there is interference particularly noticeable when the speakers / headphones were quiet. It was pretty annoying so I picked this up and gave it a go. Instantly fixes my problem so am very happy with it as a cheap and cheerful fix. - I went for this specifically because it has a volume dial, meaning it can work really well with 3.5m headphones or earplugs that don't have their own dial. So far it's been great. Only had it a few days though, so I'll update the review if it breaks.

I bought the item to add 4 sound channels to my ipad using the 2 x 3.5mm outputs. The device was recognised by the iPad and worked out of the box, so fine if you just want to add a headphone jack or headset. Despite 2 outputs this device can only only duplicate 2 channels (stereo), so wasn't suitable for what I was looking for.

Restored an old PC that had AC97 Integrated Sound, Audio Out failed on me, bought this as a replacement and cheaper than internal sound card.Plugs straight into pack or front of USB works with USB 2.0 Windows XPDrivers load from PC as no driver disk is supplied but seller does state this.Sound is exceptional for my use very loud and just like a soundcardLooking for a cheaper work around to get sound back on your PC this is itOrdered Sunday evening and arrived Monday.Would use Seller again, well packagedThanks

Doesn't work with my Corsair headphones with mic. I can hear but am unable to talk. Headphones work fine when plugged in directly but not when attached via this device.
