It looks nice, feels strong, fits into narrow areas, and wasn't terribly hard to assemple.
The shelf was one of few which would fit into the narrow space where I had room for it. The 'ladder' design gives it a little more style than my other options which were very flat. Except that there was a bit of a struggle getting the top and bottom halves of the sides to fit together, the rest of the assembly was very uncomplicated. The unit seems very sturdy and looks nice. I am very pleased with it--so much so that I have already ordered a 3-tiered model to fit into another narrow space. My books have not been this uncluttered in years.

Nice ladder shelf bookcase
This was easy to put together. I did it by myself. And it is plenty big enough to display the objects of art, etc. that I wanted it for.
