BerghausMen's Cornice III Interactive Gore-Tex Waterproof Shell Jacket | Durable | Breathable Rain Coat

The best berghaus I've owned.
I have quite an extensive collection of berghaus clothing, and I must say this is one of my favourites. It looks really nice on especially with the mid draw cords, and fits really well and true to size. Made from gore tex material so you can pretty much be guaranteed to stay dry in the worst of weather. Paired together with the polartec fleece this is the ultimate winter coat in my opinion. It's a tad heavy for campers in my opinion but for walks and everyday activities its perfect. All in all great value for money as always from berghaus (Apart from their down jackets which are terrible but all down jackets are)

Quality raincoat
Firstly the coat is rainproof and windproof (had a chance to test that today thanks to the British weather!)It is dual layered with an accessible top/bottom zip system allowing you to get to inner garments without having to open up the coat. The rain hood is peaked and in today's downpour kept my face dryIn terms of pockets there are only the 2 at the front which are zipped and have press stud flaps, keeping the contents secure and dry. However these are not large (about the size of a mobile), so if you want to carry anything larger, then maybe look elsewhere. I cannot find any other pockets, so it's just the 2 I'm afraid. (My actual review score would be 4.5/5 for this reason, but all-in-all, I needed a good raincoat and I got one)I'd say at full price, maybe a touch pricey, but if you can get it sale price (around £100 - £120) then it's great value. As for sizing, I'm 5'9" and 12.5 stone with a 43" chest, and the Medium size fits great.

Beautiful jacket
Started wearing the jacket now the cold weather is here. Looks good on and feels snug too. Lightweight and windproof.

nicely made and really waterproof.

quality
A bit lighter weight than expected but is well made as all berghaus gear. Goretex fabric gives confidence in the rain but will need a fleece when it turns cold. Sizes are a tad large but that provides the room for layers and fleece.

Quality product at a good price
Needed a rrplacement Goretex jacket to replace a couple of very old (10-15 year old) Goretex jackets and to supplement my original (GB) Berghaus Mera Peak. A good basic jacket, soft texture, light weight, comfortable, decent size hood and poppers (wonderful), so much better than horrible velcro. Bought the bluey/grey dusk colour. Why pay more for the other colours! Decent length, and size (large, my normal size), slightly loose without an inner fleece and just right if one is fitted. Anyway, easy enough to pull in with elasticated/toggles for adjustment. Only two pockets (handwarmer), and a decent size map pocket. Shame not a bit bigger and angled, but at the price they are bearable. Besides, who walks around with their hands in their pockets all day. It is a basic jacket, but at the £96 that I paid, very good value and would recommend.

Nice jacket, European zipper
Nice jacket, light weight. I'm 5'7 and medium fits well with enough room to zip in a liner fleece. Beware you will have to by a same brand liner as zippers are reversed to USA so you cannot zip in another fleece.

It is the shell jacket only
Previously Berghaus sold the shell and fleece combined. The picture showing the fleece jacket attached making me believe I was buying both.
