These cat litter refill bags are such a game changer for me. The price is great. They work really well. I actually replaced my cat litter genie cartridges with another brand that is so much easier to use with these refill bags. Very little hassle to replace. Strong, durable and no odor from dirty litter. I would definitely recommend.

I was having a hard time finding a refill cartridge for my liter genie XL at a reasonable price... I ordered this hoping it would be a good alternative and I was pleasantly surprised! I used the plastic refill in the empty cartridge of the original genie refill and it fits perfectly, very easy to install and works just as well as the original refill cartridge. It's so much cheaper than the liter Genie XL original refill, which is great because I don't have to tie up and cut up plastic bags of my cat's litter every so often (the product itself does a great job of trapping odors, but it's the price that makes it so convenient that I don't have to tie up and cut up plastic bags of my cat's litter haha) I'm so happy with the price and it works just as well, so I'll definitely be buying and using it in the future :)

I have always bought litter genie refills so I was hesitant to try anything but these have actually been better. Great quality. Easy to use and great savings.

This is a very good solution for the expensive litter genie refills, which are just too expensive. The product fits very well, simple to add the bags to, and holds the disposed litter strongly. A well made product and cost effective!My only complaint is it does not contain the odors of the litter, especially the #2. (My cat has no digestive issues, or very foul fecals). However, just after a small amount in the bag it smells and I have to change it.

Nice to be able to use the litter genie with less waste of buying the whole bag dispenser, fairly easy to load the refill. Totally worth it.

3rd edit of my review, dropping from 4 to 1 stars, after struggling to use these for the past month. The plastic must be too pourous (even though it feels thick and sturdy), because the odor eminates beyond the sealed bag making these replacement bags unusuable (at least for indoor use). I'm barely managing by spraying the bag opening and inside the Litter Genie canister with Lysol. Sadly I do NOT recommend these bags.<Edited review after 2 weeks of use> Dropped from 5 to 4 stars because the bags are in fact not as thick/solid as original Litter Genie bags, and as a result odors do leak through the bag.<Original review> Worked great as bag replacement method for my Litter Genie XL, making use of the empty Litter Genie plastic cassette. I held onto a half dozen of the empty Little Genie plastic cases. When I purchases these replacement bags, each one is a long length of thick, sturdy plastic bag gathered up and held in the shape of a square (imagine the shape of the bag inside an unused Little Genie cassette). For easy of shipping, what you see in the photo for this item are those gathered squares of bag collapsed and folded into one length, and then banded with a strip of paper.PROS: -- Easy to install into an empty Little Genie cassette, easy to use -- Affordable, more environmentally friendly approach (by reusing old LG cassettes) -- Refill bag material feels as thick (if not a smidge thicker) than the original LG bag material, so no concern of bag rippingCONS: -- As noted with other reviews, more smell does manage to escape the Little Genie container than I ever noticed while using original Litter Genie bags. (Maybe there is some kind of coating to the plastic material that LG provided that isn't provided here.) I'm going to experiment by dropping in a spoonful of Baking Soda halfway through filling one bag and see if that helps to contain/diminish the odor leakage.Upon receipt of these refill bags, I removed the band of paper from one set of the bags. Then I open the length of gathered bag into the intended square shape to match the empty Little Genie cassette I had kept. Place the square of gathered bag on top of the empty LG cassette, and begin to insert the gathered bag into the slot of the LG cassette. (This was very easy to do.) I found that if I turned over the now-refilled LG cassette, the new bag would slip out of place along one edge or one corner. Not to worry, because the refilled cassette does not sit in the LG container in an inverted position. Keeping the refilled cassette turned upright (in the position when the bag refill was pushed into the slots of the empty LG cassette), grab the opening edge of the gathered bag (which I could easily see), and pull out a length of the bag, and push that length of bag through the center hold of the cassette--this is the same action you would take when using the original Litter Genie cassette. Tie off the end of the bag firmly, and then install this refilled cassette into your Little Genie, voila!

I looked through so many different refill options because there are many listings on Amazon, but I chose this product and this was a winner. We had an old cartridge so we didn’t have an issue around that and we basically inserted this refillable bag into the cartridge and it fits well, works well, and at the end of the day, it traps odor very well. Highly recommend! I should’ve known about this part of the long time ago because I spent so much time on little genie refill bags which are very expensive.

I bought a Litter Genie with these inexpensive refills in mind; without them, I would have never justified the expense. As many others have said, the first time you insert a bag into your leftover cartridge might be a small struggle, but afterwards it is very quick and intuitive.I've gone through 2 replacement bags in the pack of 9 with no issues. The bag does not leak material or scent and sturdily carries my Genie's-worth of litter with a simple cinch. If you use decent litter, have good hygiene with your litter pail, and don't mind an extra minute of work with each replacement, you will love these for doing everything it needs to and saving money along the way.
