Love a good hockey romance. Good spice!! Def recommend! Good story line as well. I can’t wait to read more !

This was my first time reading a book by Hannah Cowan, and it was incredibly entertaining.Lifetime best friends are torn apart by a mistake and the betrayal and greed of an adult. I enjoyed the mix of scenes from when Maddox and Braxton were teenagers interspersed with the current story.These two were clearly meant to be together. Their story of forgiveness and overcoming the past was engaging. I loved the animal rescue portion of the storyline, especially Hades!KU

There was some moments in the book that I didn’t understand, and then other moments were it dragged Out , but the book had a very good plot and storyline, and I really enjoyed how stuck with the storyline instead of reaching away from the storyline. One thing I really would’ve loved to see Was them being parents.

This book was absolutely amazing. Words cannot express how much I loved and enjoyed this book. This book had everything it had love it had emotions it had betrayal. I just loved it. This book is one of my all-time favorite books. I might as well just read it again.

It was in great condition and I loved the book so much I loved that it was just kinda happy there was no huge break up there where other problems but overall it was a Duffy romance and there was some spice too

This is not a slow burn. You don't watch these two characters fall in love. What you get is two people finding one another again after years apart.Braxton and Maddox used to be the best of friends, pining after one another as teens, right up until a mistake resulted in them heading their separate ways. 8 years later and they're brought back together for a fake-dating situation. Except... all those feelings they had before come back with a vengeance.I'm a sucker for fake-dating, hockey romances with dirty-talking cinnamon roll heros. ✔️✔️✔️But, what made this story for me is mature communication!! These characters are just out here following their dreams, building lives for themselves, and offering one another grace when this opportunity arises to hear one another out.Also, I listened to the audiobook, and the narration is top-notch!!

that was so sweet and i absolutely loved it! maddox and braxton forever. i wish they talked about their issues a little longer but it was clear he was quick to forgive since he held a torch for her for so long. really well written and loved the plot

This story was so good. Friends to lovers with second chance thrown in there... bith character were great to read from and neither was annoying to read from. The plus size rep was done subtly and well. I loved both sode of their families aspects of the novel as well. And I can't wait to read the next installment in the series.*SPOILERS*I really thought we were going to get an answer of the the person who pushed her and broke into her car.... and I had the suspicion it was Noah. A twenty something, male, outside a casino. The way it was staged... and she didn't even check her cameras like she said she would, and the whole situation is skirted over and mentioned a few more times but nothing concrete about it.... but I think it was Noah. He doesn't like her, he has problems as we know, he fits the description and he was gone to visit his friend came back with it not being mentioned and then out of nowhere he's moving ?..... hmm suspicious.But iver all great read.

Oh God, Maddox and Braxton have all my heart.They're such a sweet couple and really meant to be!!I wish they could have lived the love they had since the beginning, but watching them growing up and wound up their scars was amazing too!

I loved everything about this book. Maddox and Bax are the best. One can only wish to have a love like theirs. The connection that they had as children only grew stringere as they grew older. The chemistry and communication between the two was amazing. I loved how they talked out their issues and still came up on top of it. Also, I loved how he wanted for her. I would have loved a third epilogue with them as a family of four.

I chose this book only because the FMC of this book is plus size, I wanted a book to relate and a book of assurance ig. And this book was just so perfect!It took me a long time to finish it, but it was worth it!

I so loved this one. I had to go back to the original story because I wanted to read about the family...The author writes about her characters and you wish they were your friends.The story has many twists and the huge misunderstanding is solved. Should he forgive her? I don't know... Yes, she was only 18 under the influence of her father but didn't she understand that what she did was wrong? Probably obviously as she chose in the end to leave..Maddox is utter perfection and the fact he didn't turn into a manwhore? KUDOS to the author for making him a unicorn because this boy was also possessive and had a filthy mouth.Waiting for the next book!
