What is the difference between the indoor and outdoor mirrors other than price? Is the outdoor hardware corrosion resistant, or more heavy duty?

I’ve had mine up for about a year and haven’t had any rust. It depends on what kind you get as well. Originally I purchased an inside one and it had an opening to go up against the ceiling. It eventually broke. The outdoors one is just a convex mirror that I believe is a bit more heavy duty. I would personally go with the outdoor one to be on the safe side. I really like mine. Haven’t had any issues with backing out of my blind driveway since installing it.
