Premier Seeds DirectSwiss Chard - Ruby RED - 200 Seeds

Easy to grow and were doing well until some unknown beastie scarfed the lot.... I was worried about the slugs but it looked more like something had mowed accross the top with a lawnmower!I guess next time protective netting will be a must!!

I have some very healthy looking chard grown from the seeds. Very pleased with them

Planted the seeds as per instructions in well-drained sunny spot using fresh compost and watered regularly. Weedy seedlings appeared that just fell over and wilted. None even reached maturity. Cleared them away and tried again - same result.

So disappointed. Plant first round and they did not germinate. Planted again now some germinate. As they grow I think the leaves look a lot like beetroot. But thought nothing as my first time growing red chards. Only to discover yesterday beetroot blubs developing at the base of the plant. Worse they won't grow very well as the planting medium was not mixed to grow root vegetables. So I am very disappointedEdit: The seeds were all beetroot but I must say I really like these and they have grown very well. They grew to a generous size and are tasty. Though I did order red chard

No idea what thickness or sheerness is but they germinated and I can confirm they are as advertised - which is more than can be said for other seed companies on amazon

Very disappointed when I discovered these seeds were not Swiss chard. This is misleading and extremely dangerous as anyone could has allergies or intolerance but not know what they're consuming
