The raw paper is on the front and back and there is another layer of paper sandwiched between them. I used ink and watercolors on one. The liquid, brush ink didn’t fuzz out so, if you can do pretty calligraphy, these should be handy for gift cards or the like. The watercolors didn’t blend as easily as regular paper but they did make some interesting mixed media pictures. I have done some mini-Monday practice watercolors and these will be perfect for those projects. The paper didn’t pill up or get damaged when I loaded areas with water and then brushed over that area.

Did anyone else love buying and getting those super small cards that were always at the checkout at the bookstore or at the flower shop? These are exactly that size and perfect for quick sketches or your own card making endeavors. Paper feels weighty with a nice deckle edge.

I don’t know much about handmade paper for artistic purposes but I love the way this feels and looks. Could be used for anything that you want to create an elevated look. I got the small 2x3 size. I have absolutely no idea a the moment what I’ll do with it but I still love it.
