Well made great fit for a four piece 9 foot fly rod. Additional side pouch is great for storing a small fly box.

After reading many reviews, both good and bad, I decided to take a chance and purchase one. When it arrived I eagerly opened it with anticipation. I was pleasantly surprised with what I had received. This rod and reel case stacks up well against other brand named cases that I have. It is well fitted, professionally made and every bit a case that I can be proud of to store and carry my rod and reel in. I would definitely purchase this again!

I ordered one of each color, but I received two of the same color. Wasn't worth my time to complain or return it for a replacement, considering the difference in price was only a couple bucks.For the price, it's not a bad rod holder. It does have separate compartments to keep individual sections from rubbing on each other. It seems to be well made. I'm a bit concerned about the plastic zippers, but time will tell how they hold up. I did find that the main compartment is very loose, and your butt section and reel will flop around, potentially damaging the underlying sections. I solved that problem simply by fold and inserting a small piece of foam into the butt section compartment, which creates a nice pocket into which the rod grip fits nicely. The foam pushes the grip against the tube, and keeps it from flopping around. It also keeps the other sections securely in place and doesn't cause or allow any damage to the guides or finish of the rod.Additionally, the shoulder strap that is attached to this case is completely too short and inadequate, so I added a clip on luggage strap which I had surplus. Looking forward to trying these rod holders out in the real world this summer.Update: After further consideration, I feel I was a bit harsh on this review and have raised my star rating to 4. Overall, I think it's a decent product with potential. I stand by my previous review comments.

Ordered the wrong size for my 3 piece 9' rod. Returned it and got an email from the company 2 hours after dropping it off for shipping. Ordered the case for a 10 foot rod and fits my 3 piece rod perfect. Case is padded welland looks like really good quality. Side pocket is perfect size for fitting a small case of flies. Will definitely shop with this company again.

Bought two of these combos in different weights. What a deal. Casts great and well made. You can pay twice the price for similar rods. And if you break it for any reason you're not out a bunch of $$.

I like the case, my rod fits well and my small fly case fits in the pocket.

Wow, very pleased with this and immediately bought a second. It looks really great and my rods and attached reels fit perfectly. The case is tough and O believe it will provide a a very good degree of protection. Highly recommend these.
