these are basically junk
Like the title says, these are basically junk. I ordered them thinking that $32 would buy me a decent pair of earmuffs, but I did not notice that they came in a "2-pack". They do provide a reduction of sound in the upper midrange and high frequencies. However, they hard hard plastic shells that are not damped. This means that the plastic shells covering your ears will resonate with sounds in the lower midrange and actually cause a "boomy" sound. It increases the pressure of this lower midrange (which is not good for your ears). They are uncomfortable and a pain to adjust the headband size. Don't waste your money and buy the 3M Peltor instead. They are much more comfortable and usable and also have better sound blocking characteristics.

Great for the money!
These are a great value! I needed extra ear coverage for when I take my husband or son to the shooting range with me. These aren’t the best on the market for noise cancellation, but they muffle the gunshots at the range just fine. I think these are a great value and function how I need them to :-)

Shoot! I can't hear you.
These are awesome! I prefer the ear muffs...and have ever since my dad took me shooting ages ago. I highly recommend. Comfortable, very good at cancelling all noise, but you can still hear enough to communicate (which makes them safe as well)...please see the NRR...which needs to be above at least 22...these are 26. These work!
