Works well with the Bissell spot cleaner, nice fragrance. Would say it’s a bit expensive for the size .

This morning I congratulated myself the purchase of the Bissell's products (washing liquid, oxidiser, washing machine) some time ago. Not sure how this happened but A LOT of ink spilt on my sofa - soft material, A LOT of ink did soak deep into the material. Not just any ink - Pilot Iroshizuku (for uninitiated - one of the best ink brands on the market, known for great shading) ... What a disaster. I used a double measure of the washing liquid and oxidiser and spent the last hour patiently soaking the stain and vacuuming the ink out, without a big hope for any success... I already started coming to peace with the idea of spending 1000+ pounds on a new sofa when I will be handing over this flat. After an hour of thorough cleaning, the spot is GONE! For a good measure, I also tried this solution on some small, older stain (this time, less intensive colour and shading ink) - completely dried out one - soaked the spot for a couple of minutes and vacuumed it, and again, and again... AND IT WORKED! Absolutely amazing product! Highly recommended. Of course, at first, follow the recommended proportions, test it in an inconspicuous spot to check how the material reacts to it. In my case, the material took it well the first time I tried it, so when disaster struck, I went overboard with the solution and the risk paid out!

Works very well with our cleaner

This stuff is amazing! The slightest amount cleans stains, marks, dirt, etc, from even quite large areas. I use it on my carpet and leather suite. It really is good. It may seem expensive but it goes a long way and does the job of a professional at a fraction of the cost. Well worth the money and I'll continue to keep on using it.

I like this product but I'm disappointed, its smells lovely and fresh but doesn't do so great on stains it takes a few sprays and 2 going over with the machine with the solution (and no that isn't just my carpet a family member borrowed it too) I think as a carpet refresh it's value for money but would recommend on stains unless you want to be going over them all afternoon.

We bought this carpet cleaner to deal with spots on carpets that we are not yet ready to replace but that were looking their age. We struggled to work out the mix of detergents supplied with the machine. The names on the bottles didn't seem to match the description in the handbook or on-line. The instructions about how to use the machine are a little meagre and we watched a YouTube video before we started. In practice it's easy to use once you understand the stages you need to go through - spray patch of carpet - leave for 5 minutes - brush in - pull the liquid out again - all with one attachment. How effective is it? On new stains, it has done a great job. On older stains, not so good - but that, I think, is to be expected. All in all a good buy - and great to have in the house so that new spills and stains can be dealt with quickly before they become permanent.
